First time grower outside... Help?

Hey guys I live near Portland Oregon and
was wondering what I should expect or
do for growing outside. A buddy ordered
some seeds from Amsterdam, but I also
have some Hawiian Haze plants as well. I
was having my buddy grow Indoors, but
things keep on happening (1000w, 12
under 12" , all range from 3"-8" tall....
COME ON!!). Also these seeds were
sprouted, doing 2 cards. Supposedly I got
a few Train Wreck or NYCD, but I really
doubt it, so they are on my last to plant
list.

My question is... Can I put these things
outside next week and get a good
harvest? Is there anyone around me
that has grown out here and has some
weight that can possibly come? Or not lol

My old grower from last year ripped me
off for everything and his wife told me
that on m 6 alone, he got over 5lbs.
Could that be true?

Do I just plant and water when needed?
Do I need box fans on each side of my
little enclosure I make to keep air flowing
or should I just keep both ends slightly
open.

THANKS GUYS/GALS!

I guess my question is... Is it better to do
indoor or outdoor? I know its free light,
but I have Celiac Disase, and I puff a
bunch to keep me going. Just a lot of
pain. Thats why I was wondering on yeild.
I smoke in or around a ounce a week.
Sorry if I made myself look greedy

You can yeild more outside. There are no light penetration issues as the light from the sun is already so spread out the lumen drop off is no different at the top of the plant and the bottom. When growing outside there are possibilities of polination from a neighbouring garden and cop trouble, people stealing your stash etc. Idoors there are no bugs and a lot more control but you will not get as much as you would outdoors.

When outside, you can water when needed and that helps a lot. Outside the roots can go really, really deep so it's easier for them to stay hydrated. If you miss a watering outside it's not a big issue as there is also rain. I have worm wood outside in my garden and I never water it, but I think the roots hit an underground stream because even if there is no rain for weeks it still grows like crazy and extremelly healthy. Inside you forget to water and depending on the container size if it is small then you can do serious famage.

I used to grow outside and you can get amazing results a few times I've got slightly polinated plants from pollen blowing in the wind, but nothing serious.

Oh it does help if you get a strain that is meant for your climate. And you might not have the same turnaround time. Indoors you can veg for 2 weeks then force flower outside you can't...well you can cover your plants to make darkness but that defeats the purpose to me. Usually if you plant in may/early june (usually start indoors then after last frost take them outside so mid to late may I usually plant outside after hardening them off to get them used to outside) then you can usualy harvest in september/October so say may to october is 5 months but you usually have huge plants, indoors you can harvest after about 3 to 4 months from seeding. Outdoors only summer grows and indoors is year round.

And never take anything from outside into your indoor grow room, that's asking for problems.

So it just started 'flowering' season where I am at and was just wondering a thing or 2. Would rain like the occasional storm here and there hurts my plants? I have nothing to cover them, no roof, no greenhouse..... just like nature. Is that ok? They will be bamboo'd up for stability but ios the rain itself harmful in
the 'raw' rain and the 'big buds'??

Thanks for all who reply, would like a few
responses with prior knowledge please!
