hey guys whats up im a first time grower i just moved into my first apartment and have a perfect room for growing. so i have only a few things right now i have a full 5x5x9 growing closet, with a 400w ballast and 400w HPS light about 18 maybe 20 inches away from my baby hindu skunk plant on a rockwool medium with xtra-edge high performance hydroponic liquid plant food and a 10 gallons of water stocked up so far OH and i also have a 10'' ventilation fan! all i really want to grow is 3 to 5 plants at a time so what else would i need to have an awesome first grow? and ive taking great care of it but it seems kinda droopy and the top leaves are falling downwards but the plant looks extremely healthy i dont get it. any help would be amazing!!!!
and i also might have to mention its a clone i got from a med. shop down the street from my house.

every four to five hours? yah, i would say that is too often.. you want them to go longer between waterings,, this will cause the roots to grow looking for water.. usually droopy leaves is a good sign of over watering.. try and cut back on the waterings and see if that helps any..

too much water for your plant... I water every 2nd day sometimes 3rd and the plants love it. Your light height seems fine as long as the top leaves don't show signs of burning (yellowing, dry curling) Water when your soil is reasonably dry about 4 inches down. Take care bro.

am i missing something or are you ONLY growing in perlite? cause if so you might wanna make a soil mixture. could explain why the water runs out so fast. sounds like a combo of over/under watering. idk sorry if i missed something but your original post says nothing of a soil. the only medium you list is perlite.

First of all the question what do I need? is so vague, it depends what you want. Sounds to me like your in over your head with the medium/watering thing you have going... As you sound like a beginner you should have started with a good soil mix or soilless mix in pots, not perlite and reservoirs. No offence at all btw. At the beginning of your thread you mentioned twice that it was one hindu skunk plant, well just a few posts ago you referred to your plant"s" plural form, just curious. Also you can take that little data chip out of your digital camera, it plugs into your comp for quick uploads, that's what I did, I lost my cord too lol. Post some pics and people will have 10 times a better idea of how to help...if you want it or "them" to live right?

I have one plant so far but 3 on the way germinating in paper towels (if thats ok .) and my buddie gave me some hydroton and soil and thats what i wanted to grow my 3 babies in. but i have my hindu skunk in a medium.

well id say thats your problem. cause perlite isnt exactly a medium. perlite just helps drain the water. hell if your watering your plant you probably dont even finish and already water is running out the bottom right? heres what you should do, put some newspaper at the bottom of your pot, create about a 1/2 inch layer of perlite on the bottom of the pot. then create a soil mix using 80% soil and 20% perlite. that should give you adequate draining and enough soil to actually hold nutes properly.
