First time grower Starting Perpetual grow "Grow Journal" for Jake Greenthumb

Hey all, I wanted to start a grow log for my perpetual grow. Im a RI Medical Patient and I apprently have a hidden talent, a Green thumb. Now im not saying Im a pro by any means but I'v been told by growers who have come over to see my setup and plants that its looks like i've been doing this for years =) which makes me happy because I've done weeks of reading, research and planning before i started and still do so on a daily basis because u can never know to much anyways on to the grow. Also im about 2 weeks in to my flower currently on my first two plants I've already started a journal at a diff site so im going to cut and past all my post till this date. dont worrie there isnt alot lol

My system is complete, and by complete i mean i have everything needed to grow great buds. It is forever going to be tweaked and stuff added to it so i will keep you posted when stuff like that happens.

Equipment

Veg Tent
1 XL Sun-hut 4x4x7
1 600w light HPS
1 600w crop-master light ballast
1 6" inline fan 440 cfm airflow (Venting run for both tents)
Ebb and Flow bucket setup Using a top feed steady steam drip system on a 15/15 timer with a shutoff valve to flood buckets once a day, this system was custom built by me using the buckets from my ebb and gro system i use in my flower tent, it makes it for easy moving of the pots from veg to flower tent and i didt have to buy another control module.
General Hydroponics 8 Site Waterfarm (The flower tent has its own 8 site i just pull the top bucket out and move it over to the flower tent. Not all the buckets are being used at this point im starting a little at a time to get it to be a nice perpetual flow of plants by Jan

they look great. you definitely did your research man. the only thing I would suggest is scrog for obviously reasons. I think you, being pretty much on your feet doing everything right, would be able to see a big increase in your already-nice yield. nice plants man. +rep

thanks for the kind words dude =) means alot. I work very hard on this and i studie and read a ton i want perfect girls lol and they do look perfect i just want them to start getting fatter gotta find that bloom booster that will work best for me right now im trying so Liquid Kool bloom as an extra little kick to see if that will add some weight and density i hear its a good product for that and adding resin glands so will see.

my two girls with the bigger buds on them (the afgooey and Skunk #11) are in day 33 of Flower just though i would throw that bit of info on here so that last video they were on day....29 i think

so My skunk #11 Hermied it is currently on week 7 of flower but i was forced to remove it from the flower room its currently flushing for an early harvest, Ill make hash out of her or something im sure there still plenty of smokable buds on her.

Afgooie looks amazing Ill add pics to post so u can see both plants, both the afgooie and the skunk are week 7 of flower. i ithink the afgooie might go 9 weeks which is fine its truly an amazing plant to watch grow so pretty.

In the Veg closet i have 7 plants currently, soon to be more i have several clones rooted and waiting for me to put them in buckets and get them going.

Afgooie 7 weeks

2 Ahfgain Kush/White Widow Hydrid 2 weeks and 3 weeks (these guys are giant already bigger then the afgooie and skunk and they have 6 weeks to go still)

NYC Sour Desiel 2 Weeks (This one flowers for 9-10 weeks)

Super Lemon Haze 3 weeks

2 God crack 3 days flower

afgooie 3 days flower

2 Unknown Strains (They were adopted by me from a friend who was moving and could not take them both in soil not hydro like the rest of my girls) 2 weeks flower.

Heres an update of my eqiupment i added some stuff.

Currently in the veg closet im using 2 8 bulb Cool blue 2x2 t5's they girls love them!

Flower room Lights I got rid of my 600w mh light and got a 1000w hps and kept the other 600w hps so a totle of 1600w hps running on my girls

also started doing a DWC for my veg room in 6 inch net pots which will transplant easy easy to my ebb and flow buckets in the flower tent

I have two kandy kush plants that just started in the veg room going to keep on in the dwc 5 gallon bucket and use it as a mother, this plant is amazing the buds are some of the best i have ever had the pleasure of smoking so i want to keep this one growing maybe do a hole crop doing scrog in the future who knows. Anyways theres my update now for the pics =)

buds look GREAT. so full of resin and plants themselves look very very healthy and happy. i bet you cant wait to smoke it!

Ya they do look great....just not as BIG as i want them lol but health and resin wise they are awesome!

planted from cloner to DWC buckets 1 Kandy Kush on 12-20 2 afghan kush/white widow on 12-25 and one NYC SD on 12-25 by 12-27 the Kandy Kush has roots hanging out of the net pot the size of my fist! unbelievable!

lol 'not terribly important to me..its just in here.' I laughed my ass off lol. I gotta remember to check this part of the forum to stay up on this. you seem to like that headband, hell yeah! one of my favorite strains. You definitely pick some good strains to grow. keep up the great work

Ya Headband will be awesome! Im really excited about the kandy kush though i got some Great Strains Im pretty happy with them!

So While using the DWC buckets my roots started getting a brown slime on them, i wasnt to sure what it was but i took my buckets and hardcore washed them, washed the roots the issue remained, so i did some research and found a producted called Great White, its full of healthy fungi and bacteria it said it would destroy the bad stuff and keep the good stuff all while promoting root growth....It sure did the roots are back to being white and no brown slime anywhere i'm super happy about that.

I started some clones in the cloner, got 3 kandy kush 3 headband going in the cloner ill be taking 6 more in the next 2 weeks before those plants go in to flower to keep the flow going =).

Harvested the Super Lemon Haze, its currenty drying and curing, One of the two Afghan Kush/White Widow Hybrids is about done as well it is getting a flush right now and in a few days i will harvest it. and about 2 weeks after that ill be harvesting about 3 more plants =) things really rolling now im excited.

Bought all the stuff to build my custom Flower room, cant wait to not be growing in those tents anymore they are so restricting, the new room will be able to fit 24 Plants instead of squeezing 10 plants in to my tents hehe and ill be getting a 3rd light for my new room....Maybe ill just buy 2 Raptor hoods instead of a new light they are hugh and would do a great job. welp boys and girls theres the update on whats going on in Doc J Greens Grow

Took the tents out of the Grow room last night and built a custom room 8 feet wide by 10 feet long by 8 feet high =) its fantastic i will include video of it if the site allowes me its being a little silly at the moment. It took us 11 hours and 4 poeple which half way threw was cut down to 2 people but thats ok we still got it done. I have som finshing touches to do like duct taping some stuff and going over what we did duct tape already because we didnt have white tape last night so we used what we have and i figured i would put white over it later (Tomorrow lol) and a few other odds and ends too button up but all and all its fantastic!
