First time grower suggestions on seed stains?

Ive been reading a bit and I'm now a proud owner of a 400 watt MH / Hps light with ballast and good from htc supply. Also I have a grow tent 24"x24"x64" from cheaphydroponics. I'm looking to have a stain that's hardy and will put up with my first time grower mistakes. I was looking a few stains like: pineapple chunk, 60 lemon auto from (Barneys and DNA ) I'm not sure what to do a auto to start out with or cometh photoperiod. I would like a good yielding plant. Any suggest ?

IMO Do not use autoflower, From experience I prefer the potency and terp flavors from photoperiod plants MUCH more. Everyone starts somewhere I was a new grower at one point also and started with a 400 HPS. I started with Purple Kush Clones I got from a friend and besides increasing my yield, first grow pulled 20 grams a plant in 3 gal now im getting 2oz per plant same setup! I had good mentors but honestly I never had any real problems besides over watering or ferting and just having to flush. I always do from clone so i could not suggest seeds but I always had great luck with Any Kush lineage being really hardy besides the lemon kush seemed to stress easily. Good luck!

Thank you very much! Hopefully soon we'll get this thing started! I don't have any access to clones so I'm going to have to start from seed.

Hey bro there are alot of seed banks and breeders out there. I am going to direct you to a site and a breeder that everyone will agree is good, and that is Sannies Seedbank. People will say they havn't tried his beans or they may not know about him but I have never read a bad thing about Sannies genetics/shipping/germination ratio/ customer service! His prices are great and 90% of his strains I have been fully impressed by! Sannie takes his female plants and goes out of his way to stress them out and hermie them. If they do he will not work with them! His genetics don't dissapoint either! I have never gotten a bad review on any weed that I have grown of his! Start there, I would recomend the Herculies for massive output and frosty nugs! Start there my friend and you won't be dissapointed! http://www.sanniesshop.com/

IMO if you are starting then try and research a strain that is forgiving to learning curve mistakes. Skunk strains are great for that and they are abundant. Try Anesthesia from Sannie's seeds it has the positronics version of skunk #1 and herijuana. Get some grows under your belt then you can try something a litte more challenging like Pineapple Chunk ( done that and absolutely enjoyed but the growing aspect pushed my existing skills to its limits which is good from time to time for honing purposes). Best of Luck.

Thanks so much I'll give them a look! Right now the only problem is I've tried to order seeds from three diff websites like single seed, seed of seeds, and nirvana. They all have said I have a problem with the bank or payment problem.. why is this ? I have more then enough money on my card and its a visa debt.

I have heard with others that its the rate conversion that causes the problem with some card companies. I never encountered that issue with Sannies or Attitude and I use a debit card as well.

I would suggest pineapple express, I've made many mistakes but that strain just seems to take a beating with an amazing yield.

If your tent is 2 x 2 x 5 I don't see much growing getting done. If it's 5 feet tall maybe one good plant would fit in your space.
Remember, your light will hang down from the top of the tent. Then how much room do you have from the bulb to a plant in a pot?
Not much.

Yeah what it was the bank did put a block on it but I got that cleared up! Yeah your right bigsteve I guess I'll start looking for another tent or look into making my own. But what about like lowryders? They would maximize space correct? Instead of having just one big plant.

I've grown autos before, and they are just not worth it in my opinion. You can get results in the same time frame using regular plants, and the quality will always be better, plus you use almost half the electric. If you have a tent then you can achieve full darkness, so no need for autos.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Killing Fields by Sannies if you like a good tasty strong sativa.
