yesterday was the start of week 6, i just got done giving it deuce deuce last week which is a potassium bloom booster and this week i gave it some big up powder and back to the deuce deuce next week which should help the plant pack alot of weight on, hopefully! thanks for the comments, just feed the plants today and will post pics in 3-4 days. ok UFEELIT? to answer your question 6400k bulbs are full spectrum bulbs which promotes overall plant growth (veg) and 2700k bulbs provides increased output in the red spectrum which promotes flowering & budding in plants![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1]

well thank you! you know i was more exceited then anything about cuttin them down cause i wanted to see how my work turned out and so far the only thing im disappointed about is that they didnt stay dense, they fluffed up, idk hy cause in week 6 of flower i gave it a 0-0-22 potassium booster then gave it big up powder in week 7 which is 0-33-23 and then gave it the 0-0-22 in week 8 again. i thought the combination would help dense the buds up but really didnt! do u grow in soil or hydro? if u grow in soil how do u feed? every time u water or what? i watered twice a week and fed only once a week but maybe i should have fed both times. any help would be appreciated!

i grow in soil and feed every other water, so water, feed water, feed, from week 5-7 of flower i give them pk 13/14 every water along with my normal feeding schedule. i flower under hps though, i veg under cfl, ive never flowered under cfl but from what ive read the buds are normally fluffy, someone might correct me if im wrong though, if you've got enough space then i carnt recommend hps enough, even a 400 watter will produce some nice dense sticky buds, the difference between cfl and hps is huge,

also just reread your second post and your flowering under a veg light so that might of added to your fluffy buds.

^Water cloning does indeed work. I did it accidentally, taking more cuttings than I wanted, then leaving a couple sit in a glass of water for about a week. It was just plain old tapwater (ph 6.8 with 35 ppm), and when I finally got curious and took a look at them, it looked like a freaking hydro system had started.lol

ya im not really into the tall lanky plants, i would like a bushier plant but still learning, im scared to top it myself so i have a friend that has been growing a few years come over and show me how to do it so i will top it soon but as u can see in a few picks i have a string holdin the top down a bit to let the sides grow more then the top. as for more lights i was thinkin about that and i also just recieved me other light fixture which is the same as the one im already using, i was thinkin 0f hanging it vertically along side the plant but that would only cover one side. oh and i should also mention that im a cook of 6 years so my heat tolerance is higher then most so holdin my hand under the light doesnt work i just tried it and i put it literally an inch away from the light for about 30 secs and it was not hot!
If you're not into tall, lanky plants, I have bad news for you. You have tall, lanky plants. And the other guys are right. Those branches are just gonna keep reachin' for those lights and get lankier. The problem with fluoros, even with the high-end ones, they just can't produce the thickening of branches like hid, and moving it further away from the mid to lower branches will leave you with lotsa thin, disappointing lower growth due to the massive light fall-off.

It's not because your hand is heat resistant, but the bulb is cool. You could put a low watt fluoro directly on the skin of your face and be fine... So If you can supplement your mid to lower growth with more light, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

I think you have good vigor in your side branches for soil/fluoro. Keep up the good work.

Edit:
Oh, I didn't see that you finished on the third page. Tricky.

Your buds look good. But I hope you've learned now how you could have increased production with training techniques.

thanks for all the advice guys! i currently cleaned out an extra room in my house for my new grow operation, i will be using a HPS idk what wattage yet but im thinkin a 600 watt light! well i trimmed up my plant today and threw them in jars, my friend that grow very good weed told me they might have dried out to fast so to leave them on the stem for a couple days in the jars to pull moister out of the stems threw the buds, im take the nugs off in a couple days then finish the curing process! well here are the pics oh and im not gonna weigh it out for another week so i dont know the weight yet.IMG_0747.jpgIMG_8319.jpgIMG_5901.jpgIMG_4479.jpgIMG_1902.jpgIMG_4913.jpgIMG_7719.jpgIMG_3990.jpgIMG_0719.jpgIMG_8658.jpgIMG_7395.jpgIMG_5591.jpgIMG_5851.jpgIMG_8672.jpgIMG_5873.jpg
