Hi to all. This is my first time growing outdoors ,and I was hoping I could have a few suggestions thrown my way.I have used clones of a very good female strain, and they seem to be growing just fine.I am curious about three different things and was hoping the wonderful web world could help me out.
1. Fan leaves... Some say take em off other say leave em on till yellow.I think I may leave em and pick em as they go,,but man there is a lot of em.
2. I am nervous as hell that the two babies u see my hand in are turning Hermie .
...or is it just a bigger calyx than usual.. it got pistels everywhere else except three spots. that have little banana shaped things in the crotch of the branch ..if someone could take a look at pics and tell me be greatly appreciated .
and
3.When the buds start to form is it best to let it all go or thin out everything except the top two or three colas on each branch to produce bigger bud.,,,or let it go naturally and see wut happens . Some examples on how ppls fared out with these methods would be great,,
Again, this is my very first time growing...(everything a learned thing as I go),,and I've spent many many hours over the last few months just reading and reading and reading and.... u get the idea lol
But reading and learning from experience and the help of others is totally different,,so any input be greatly appreciated.

not sure if its hermie or not the first pic that buldge looks strange but the second pic all i can see r petoiles comming from the stem.leave the fan leaves until they fall off them selfs they r the energy factories of your plant.when she starts to bud dont thin it out if u do u will cut off the leaves that store energy/food for the plant and it will affect yeild

i do and dont agree with closet but if its not getting light its not making energy so other parts of the plant have to work that much harder. i like to thin out the inside where light doesnt penatrate. also if your thining out that stuff your freeing up energy to go else where like bigger colas but taking stuff off does stress out a bit messing up energy flow. a rule of thumb for me if its not getting at least 30% sun/hid lighting get rid of it. also doesnt really look hermied i see white hair more than balls but keepan eye out, i found just one little flower on a plant an harves time i found about 12 seeds in one plant so its possible. hope this helps have a growtastic day.

thanks for response. Thats why I was asking on forums about the hermie...its looks strange to me too... that one plant in particular was half eaten by a deer earlier in its life..so it may have gotten stressed.I'm just gonna let it ride a bit and see wut happens... funny thing is tho.. a lot of female pistels growing everywhere cept those few spots. will it hurt to let them go and see wut happens or should I relocate that one particular plant just to be on safer side...as for thining out..I was told if I did the main colas will increses in size cause all the energy is focused there..but having popcorn buds are fine with me...its all smokable lol .
thanks again for your reply C.G
I hope my babies are doing ok... I nervous and excited at same time . :)

so thinning out some would help a bit ... man this shit is confusing ...lol
but fun to learn either way..
Maybe someone can take a look at the rest of the pics and tell me wut they think so far... I think to be safew I may move that one plant to another location....will the (possible) hermie pollenate everything if it is left? I dont wanna take that chance but also dont wanna risk losing the plant to stress from a move so late on ..if it isnt .

like palm said u can thin the really low stuff to help with air circulation and yes doing that will let the plant focus nutes and stuff to the important parts of the plant.ive never expirenced hermies before(knock on wood) so dont know about what to do but logical thinking tells me move that away from the gals just incase it pollinates them

so when u look at the pics ...think I should let it go or thin....I'll take my chances and move the one in question away in the next day or two... how long would I have to just leave it for now... it takes a while before the pollen is release if it were does it not? at least long enough for me to know for sure without hurting thew
girls ... comments ?
