First time growers, just started flowering recently? come on in :)

Growing some Silver Star and Fat Boy. Only 3 Survived the mites. Flushed 2 plants with just water. Am using an expensive local soil and natural botanicare products for nutes. Will flush the last next watering. Will be using pro bloom and liquid karma after that. planning on using mild molasses and water for last week w/ maybe a cleansing product. Here are some pics of me on day 1. will keep yous guys updated.

Keep the pics comin'!

Welcome aboard Newb1egrower :) First of all LOVE the wall post measurement chart on the first pic, reminds me of my family cabin, except there's names beside the numbers. I also use liquid karma. So are you on day 1 right now? MITES OH NO mites suck I lost a crop about 4 years ago to mites, first attempt at indoor. They actually built themselves bridges going to all the plants. It was like a treetop village they had going, with all day every day feasts, festivities and celebrations. I will never, I reapeat NEVER succumb to those greasy lil A-Holes again. What is your PMP (pest management program) for next grow, I have some ideas for you if you'd like, ciao fo' now ~ BCbuddy :leaf:

I don't have one other than keeping everything really clean. I even use a lab coat and switch shoes b4 i enter my room. The mites came with the clones, but my buddy loaned me this effective, yet toxic pesticide. My new plants, which are Grand Daddy Purple, are clean and beautiful. I didn't move the infested plants into my room until all were dead. it's indoor, so i don't want to deal with ladybugs. Thanks tho. Will upload new pics in a few weeks.

day 29-8.jpgday 29-3.jpg

was started with no budget, just what was lying around the house. a couple house lamps and a re-wired socket, 2x13Watt 6500k cfl's and 1x11Watt 2700k cfl.
PICT0005.jpgPICT0009.jpg

i have spent about 15 bucks on lights since then. still on a limited budget...
lemme know what u think... this is hopefully the first of many endeavors... we'll see.

:leaf::shock:

now they're on 12/12 under 2x19Watt 6500k cfl's, 1x13Watt 6500k cfl and 2x13Watt 2700k cfl's.
day 29-4.jpg

Waiting for store to restock then will get 4 more 23Watt 6500k's and 4 more 23Watt 2700k's... should be tomorrow.

Im really interested to see about when everyone harvests. It should be around the same general time for the most part :D. Who Will Yield the Most from One Plant Contest?! haha

Hmm yeah that would be nice.. My plant is 11 days into flowering at 25 inches any guess on my yield? first time so im not too sure.. Bagseed ^^
It is an impossible feat to even guess a plants yield, it has too many variances and factors involved. I would assume your running a hps 250-400 watt with lower cfl lighting? I can only help you judge your own yield, by your own judgement, of your own knowledge, that you only know... lol Most growers that are highly lacking knowledge and good equipment "they" say still get around 0.5 of a gram dry per watt used, so do the math on your own judgement. I'm personally hoping for .65 -.7 grams per watt :) Some of the best growers can get a gram per watt and up... wooweee

Nice work ^^ I can proudly state that I officially got my first set of white hairs today and saw many, many more on their way. And so it begins... the embarking of the journey.

Some of the plants have shot up in stretch so I have carefully "retarded" them from growing any higher ATM(lst) muhuaHAHAHaha I bent the stems sideways so they multi-site some colas. I've only done this experiment with maybe 5-6 the final result should be interesting. They will be getting their first dose of their new food day after tomorrow, the flowering formula. I have lowered ph to 6.0 and spaced them out more. Oh and I cut an assload of clones so I can save the strain too :)
