First time growing...dunno whats wrong.

I had 5 plants to begin with. 2 of them stopped growing and the others so-so..i think. I just started growing..i read the newbi faq..didnt know i wasnt suppose to use miracle grow soil. I think thats my problem but i just wanted others opinoins.

btw i water every couple of days, and they have been growing for over a month now.

wow i donno jack shit but ive been growing for over a month as well and mine dont look anything like that.. they are about a foot tall and how so many leafs and stuff.. thye did have those dry leafs at the bottom tho. well hopefully an expert can help gl

I used a similiar soil to miracle grow, and it worked fine. First I`m guessing by the look of the plant the lights are way too high. Lower them to 2"-3" from the tip of your plant and it might get back on track. Also only water when the soil is dry.

looks like they need more light t8s cool white bulbs fixtuer and bulbs you can get it at walmart. As they get older they'll need hps! good luck

dont go sayin lower the lights to that level,,, especially when he hasnt even said wot lights he's uzin yet... thats maybe fine if its envirolights or floro tubes but if he is uzin hallide or hps then youve probably just burnt his plants ya Dohnut..

SAINT they look really stretched so yeah you need to lower your light but first of all wot kind u uzin .???
hps i find should always be around 18-20 inch above them but depending on heat n the way i do it is, if they grow an inch i raise the light an inch . if youve got a fan get that on them n lower the light m8.. hallide are slightly hotter than hps bulbs and you would wana place them slightly higher than hps but also depends on the temps coz u dnt wana burn them..

as for growing in soil i aint gota clue coz i only use hydro, sory i cant help you there m8. just out of curiosity though , wot are you feeding them and at wot strength??
ive heard that mirical grow aint that good but thats about all i know bout soil growing. im sure there will be sum1 along shortly to help you out coz were all in the same boat..

looks like it's time for some nutes.

I would start all over. They look over watered and if thats all the bigger it is the roots did not grow.

look ike the are starving for oxygen as well

you need a bigger light. More watts.

and the leaf situation is normal

I didnt put any fertalizer in them because i used mircale grow. I use a 250v 60hz flouresent lights and i keep it 3-4 inches above the plant. So when i start again i should water less, get better air flow, and get better lights? Btw theres no way i can save my babies?! ='(
