First Time Growing, My Plant is 3 Weeks Old, Advice is Greatly Appreciated

hello thanks for reading. i have been growing this plant for about three weeks now, all i have been giving to it is light and water.
my plant was growing fine but then the second pair of leaves are now green but they are all folded back and they pretty much look dead.

im going to post some pictures of my plant, maybe some people out there with some more knowledge than mine might be able to help me and tell me if i am doing the right thing so far and if they have an advice that they think might be useful for me to use.

Welcome, You should look around on here and read up youll learn a lot, Look into CFL light for that lil guys in the Veging stages, the lights to far away to, look into some good soil. all these things u can do for pretty cheap Good luck man and keep it going, check out the Grow Faq

im sry but that is actually kinda funny. A table lamp?..But hey, I dont grow anything at all so im even more of a noob lol.. Just read the faq and research more..

thanks alot, you guys know better, its been doing good for this long but im going to take your advice and replace it with one of them CFL light bulbs. and about the soil i have this bucket of soil which i know is pretty good for growing because last year i grew some tomatoes and just various vegetables so im thinking the soil is pretty good. i also read somewhere to fertilize the soil with banana peels which is what i am currently doing. i have one more question at night when you take the light off the plant, it might be a dumb question but i will still ask it,
around what temperature range will it be comfortable for my plant?
