This is my first crack at growing. Started with 2 Hawaiian Snow Fems and 1 Early Fatty Strains. 4 weeks after the first seed cracked this is where I am at.

2 days after I stupidly cut off my larger fan leaves because I thought they were blocking my future bud sites from needed light. Upward growth has slowed very much, but lower sites are finally getting the light they needed and are doing great. What damage to my final harvest did I cause?

OOOH Yikes! I'm not sure how much it will affect final yield but those fan leaves are what give energy to your bud sites. Are you still in the vegetative phase? If so, I'd wait for some fan leaves to grow back before sending it into flower.

You'd actually be better off removing the lower bud sites since they won't produce much anyway in the diminished light. Then the plants can focus energy on the bigger colas. I wouldn't touch anything however until they have a few weeks to recover.

Hydrofarm Sunburst 400watt though. I was going to go with the 250 but my space is 15 square feet and the 250w wouldn't quite cut it.

Nice! I wanted a 400 but my landlord's always on my ass about the electricity. My area's only 2 square feet so it's plenty adequate.

My soil mix is 1/3 peat moss 1/3 vermiculite 1/3 perlite
I can't keep a steady ph today was over 8 and the plants are getting affected. I am using a general Hydroponics ph down solution. mixing with galons of water and flushing until I receive the desired ph. But it never sticks please help!!!!!!

I think what you need is some dolomite lime. That should help you stabilize your pH. I've never used it but I know a little goes a long way. I'd get more advice about it before you use it because I've never had that problem with my soil.
