First time harvest

This GSC autoflower from weedseedexpress survived my newbie blunders and today she is getting to cut her down after 9.5 weeks. Fortunate to harvest anything but these buds are dense and smell amazing. Trichomes are majority cloudy, some amber.

I have to say issues can come up quickly and if you don’t know what to look for, it will catch you out. Especially when issues start piling up. Obviously learning never stops but I am pumped for round 2. thanks for all the help and advice boys and girls.

i am willing to wait…but I clipped 4 samples from diff colas and put it under 10X microscope. Showing 80-90% cloudy, the rest amber trichomes.

I have had about 6 grows now from gelato to Gorilla Glue and others. Space considering I only grow auto’s.
I grow indoors in a shed and currently in my 7 week with white widow.
The one thing I have leaned is under the best prime conditions 9 weeks may work.
But looking at yours and mine it’s more like12 weeks. You kind a get a feeling looking at your plants when they are ready.
Looks great but I would say about 3 more weeks.
Keep in touch.

Here's some more advice. Toss out your autos. One more reason never to buy autos, once that plant is dry you're looking at a 1/4 ounce. Non autoflower seeds and you'll have a couple of ounces at least..

I pull at least two from one plant that’s on the small side of life and four from the biggest one I don’t do autos that much but they’re are ways to get good yields. Not my preference but there are ways.

I can see the non constructive peanut section chimed in about autos …. OP it’s always a learning experience. Disregard the naysayers - learn and grow.

Reach out anytime.

Thank you. I wish I started this a lot sooner but everyone has a different path.
I want to try it all but loving every minute of this auto experience.

Try different breeder offerings - Mephisto / night owl / Dutch passion / fast buds ( for example ).

You will find better yielding autos and more worked autoflower lines than some others.
For photos - you can do no wrong with ethos ‘ they are coming out with autos / but you can run an ethos under a 12/12 start to finish ( sort of like an auto ) for more variety. Many ways to run photos like autos.

I took a look at ethos and wow amazing. will check out the other selections too. Thank you for those leads.

I feel I need to improve my grow space, it got way too hot or too cold and my plants suffered greatly In Cali this April-June. Have a better spot scoped out and will def be utilizing silica, myco next round. Water source has high PPM from tap and I need to figure this out too.

I think I suffered from newbie impatience. My conditions were definitely not as ideal as desired but have prepared a clean indoor location, guest room, wife approved. Temperature and humidity will be way more consistent and manageable.

would love to see pics

Thanks

I've continuously pulled between 6-8 ounces off autos that veg for four weeks. Maybe you should learn to grow before leaving juvenile comments. I'm so sick of this middle school superiority complex held by a lot of growers here.
