First time help, A serious attempt.

Hey everyone how's it hanging? I have seriously done some research and am going to need some help. First off I'll tell you what I'm working with for size and whatnot. I have an unfinished basement in a duplex type building. I have a section that is 17.5'Lx6'Wx7'H, I want to make that section my flowering room (What would you do with this space?). I want it to be sealed but am having trouble finding material locally to wrap around this area.
After I get it sealed with a dark outside and a reflective inner I have a 1000W H.P.S for lighting the space. I know its not a lot but I was thinking about getting a 4'-6' light rail to move the light up and down the room. Would that be a good idea? Would it work alright?
And as for the setup itself I was thinking of making my own 4'x8'(or bigger?) Ebb and flow(Fill and drain) table. I got some tutorials off of these forums I found quite helpful. I Have two mothers that are 1 1/2 months old, and have just started two more seedlings a couple days ago. They are in a 4'x4' grow tent under CFL's and tubes. I am planning on getting a 250W MH for the mothers and just use tubes for the clones seeing how they don't need as much light.
*** I actually want to start flowering those two mothers because I took cuttings wrong and one of them is actually starting to show signed of sex under 24H light. If I do I have those two seedlings sprouting and five more fem seeds.***
Back to the set-up, I want to set up a perpetual harvest somehow. If I have to I will get another light and table. I will be using COCO COIR or Hyrdoton (if my hydro store carries it). What would you use? I want to take rooted clones and plant straight 12/12 no veg. I think 4 plants/ft2? I have made a homemade Aeroponic cloner (DIY ) that I have not had chance to use yet. That's all I can think of at the moment, pretty high, pretty tired and gotta work early. If you have any remarks, questions, useful tips, handy info it would be much appreciated.

I do have all the small things like ph meters, fans, filters. just ask about them and I will tell you about them I just need to get to bed

Could somebody atleast tell me what they think? or what they would do with the space to have an efficient running setup?

Ok so one 1000w HPS is good for that area, but honestly you can EASILY set up 2 for how big the room is. Just make sure you have the best ventilation possible. Everything else sounds pretty good and go ahead and flower the moms, as long as you have cuttings. You should post some pics of your setup tho.

Thanks, for the replies guys. I thought I'd bump the post because it was late last night when I posted. I will get some picture up tonight after work. but bare in mind it's NOT a sealed room yet its just enough to get me by for now. Pay day is on the 15 so I will hopefully start to seal it by then. And GUD2TOKE would that be better then just straight coco or straight hydroton? just trying to grasp the concept of hydro. If anyone else has any insight or would like to share what they'd do with that room size and setup please feel free.

yeah it would be better for aireation than just coco. they(some) do it in amsterdam

iff you just use pebbles theres no ph buffer at all and ur plants will be affected by ph levels faster and more severe,, usin coco would help a lot

Hey sounds like you working in a pretty big area, and like someone said already the space your working in could probably house to veg areas. Think the best thing for you would be to section it off, and you said you wanted it sealed. Watch this video, i found it really useful, its a bit cheesy though, but gives you a could idea, he seperates his veg/flower rooms with just simple black plastic PVC sheeting, really simple and effective http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KVO26htvoQ

Any how, that room is giant!!! I would get 2 1000 watts on movers, still probably not enough light, but closer. I do not run ebb and flow so i can not help with that area but i am forced to agree with everyone else and say to split it into a veg and flower so you can run perpetual, may want to use smaller tubs for smaller more often harvests, a 4 x 8 harvest would be a big harvest! All and all seems like you've got the idea, remember its awful hard to have too many fans in their, keeps plants happy.
