First time hydro having problems (3 weeks in)

This is my first hydro grow (top-fed dwc) and it was going great up until this week. The leaves began to taco and slouch (from what I assume is overwatering) and the rate of growth slowed down a bit. They're in 2 in Rockwool cubes and I've stopped watering for the most part in attempts to dry out the cubes. I also lowered the humidity and upped the temperature by a couple degrees. I've just been coming in every couple hours or so to make sure the roots don't dry up. I also lowered my nutrient concentration by about half just to make sure the signs the plant was showing werent early signs of nitrogen toxicity. Any ideas on how to fix my problem? The Rockwool just refuses to dry out and I'm afraid if I can't fix this quick the roots may begin to rot. Any help is appreciated!

Whats the problem with your plant exactly?

Its looking just fine.. maybe take a picture under real light (not blurple) but from what I see they look just fine.. chill out mate youre doing good.. is your PH good?

At this age they need only a minimum of nutrients so yeah dont push nutes too hard at this stage..

Im not in hydro but I read hydroguard was doing miracle against root rot if ever youre worried id look into that.. but seriously its looking good from the picture you posted

That's good to hear :) I usually start with my ph a bit high (around 7) cause those cubes make it drop to about 5.0 by the end of the week. But I try to keep it around 5.5 - 6.0.

I was just a bit worried about overwatering because the plant began to slouch a bit and the leaves seemed to be clawing but it could just be the plant weighing a bit heavier on itself.

I'll look into that hydroguard too just in case. I've also heard a lot of good about it. I'll post another pic in normal light too as I'm currently refilling my reservoir.

They look good no sign of nutrient burn imo make sure you have good airflow and they will catch up we tend to micromanage but its just a plant it will grow dont worry yet ;)

Update: Week 8 and the plant is doing great. Mainlined it and am waiting for it to grow a few more inches and fill out the tent before I switch to flower. Probably next week sometime.

Week 10 (switched to flower 2 weeks ago) and she stretched like a mf! All that growth was in about 5 days but its slowed down a little recently.

Did a little pruning to the lower fan leaves and branches that seemed liked they wouldn't amount to anything. This is my first time growing so lemme know how I did! I feel like it's going pretty damn well for my first try. :)

Hey its looking good! Yeah thats the trick with using 2 net.. everything below the first one should be cut as it wont get much light anyway.. hard to see from this angle but it look fine::

My only advise is for your training.. looking at the stem you did a good job of spreading them for the first net but then it seems between the 2 net they grew only up.. i would have kept the stretching/scrogging to the second net as well and potentially expose more buds to the light.. it may not be too late to try it out.. and you will probably be able to lower your light a little then.. do it at your own risk I dont want to be held responsible:eyesmoke: but if you do it slowly and carefully i think that should help getting a bit more yield.. but thats just my opinion! Still overall they look very healthy

Yea that pictures from a couple days ago. Since then, I went through and rearranged all the branches to fill out the tent a bit and even out the canopy a little more. I'll put some more recent pics on here if you're interested.

I was gonna go through and prune a bit more off the bottom too, I just figured I can always cut it off later, but I can't put it back, ya know.

Also, about how long does it take for most plants to show sex? It's only about a week and a half into flower

Yeah definitively looking much better like that! I think sex should be showing within 1-3 weeks of flower but you used regular seed or fem seeds? If you used regular seed and grown only one plant its a big risk if it was a fem seed from a seed bank you should be fine.. you would usually just risk hermie but the way its showing you got everything dialed in so I wouldnt worry too much about it.. youre also not risking to have pollen flying to another female as you only have one plant.. try to look for pollen pocket i tried zooming on your picture but it doesnt give good enough view to see clearly

It's from a reg seed. There are preflowers and a few are big enough that i can tell they look the right shape. They just aren't far enough along for me to be %100 its female. I'm just waiting for the hairs at this point, but from the way it looks I'm almost sure it's female.

Female confirmed!

Also pruned a bit more. She's looking nice now. :)

I'll probably prune fan leaves again in about 3 weeks once buds start to build up. Whaddya think?
