Thanks guys i appreciate the feedback...

She is coming along beautiful...i was just amazed at how fast the original tops turned upwards, in one day the stem was in an s-shape and growing level again...I counted at least 3 new tops in addition to the original one.

I started my second plant yesterday and she too turned right into an S in less than 24 hours. They get about 6 hours of direct sunlight and then are on one 23watt 6700K cfl each for another 8 hours....they grow ridiculously fast and there is literally no recovery time... I LOVE LST! haha I will post more pictures soon

I have a question for you man, do you cut the bottom fan leaf off that is closest to the soil when you bend it? I heard it is more susceptible to fungus if it is sitting in soil. I have a lava-rock layer on the top of my soil to avoid this but im curious as to how you handled it or if it is even true

I also heard that cutting a fan leaf or two off encourages branching. I have just been tying down the other fan leaves that stood suspended off the soil because they were blocking light for my new tops for now because i am scared to cut anything off my babies at this point. they are coming along so nicely and i know that in bud growing a "if it aint broke, dont fix it" attitude is the best to have

I'm surprised more people don't do this. IMO much better than topping, and you can train it how you want. And sooooo many more good bud sites and tops

Here are some pictures of the first plant yesterday

and this is them today... you can see the original top is level and there are two new tops coming out from the bottom (the slight yellowish green areas with new growth coming in)...Gonna take clones off of her in about 3-4 weeks then veg her until she flowers...

This is my second plant that i just started LST on yesterday...the first two are before training and the third is after the first bend, all taken yesterday. The last two are of the very same plant less than 24 hours later already starting to level out. Notice the obvious growth of the lower branches as they transition to tops!

And just a couple pics of my outdoor sun/cfl setup :hump: the sun will hit them from 8am to 2 pm right there everyday until the house starts to block it...i have the CFLs on a timer from 6am-8am and 2pm-8pm everyday for a total of 6 hours sun and 8 hours CFL
