First time poster, have been reading a lot about cultivation and have finally ordered my seeds. My plan is as follows
Full Tower ATX PC Case, spraypainted flat white (mylar alternative)
Two 120mm intake/exhaust fans. Intake at front bottom exhaust rear top. Exhaust fan equipped with homemade carbon filer (activated carbon)
Space limits me to CFL's, looking to purchase up to 15k lumens either using two higher wattage or 5+ lower wattage CFL bulbs. Will run 20/4 from germ to harvest
Will run a mixture of 6500k spectrum during veg and switch over to 2700k during bloom.
Will be using a quality soil brand without nutrition and will feed with quality nutes in appropriate doses. Will provide appropriate quantities of p, n based on cycle.
Homemade SCROG net to maximize yields from 2 plants.
I have a few questions for anyone who's willing to help.
My first concern is airflow, I own two yate loons that move about 100 cfm ea - is that too much cfm to produce a favorable environment for my plants? Also, will a homemade activated carbon filter covering the exhaust 120mm reduce the air out-take enough to create an imbalance in airflow ?
For two plants in a 22"(h)x9"(w)x22"(d) computer case, is 15k lumens appropriate ?
During the initial 2-3 week veg period, will the plant be able to cover most of the scrog net? Because these are auto's their life is finite and I want to make the most out of them before its time to harvest. Will I be needing to continue training the plant into bloom or is my window of opportunity limited to the auto's veg period?
Lastly, what is an appropriate ph of chlorine-evaporated tap water to feed my plants?
