A scrog net has 2" - 3" openings and it's pulled very tight to hold the branches under it so the plant grows horizontally.
A trellis net has much larger openings and isn't tight.......it's used to hold the colas from falling over.
This is a scrog net.
That looks amazing, thanks for posting. Im setting my first grow and my tent looks about the same size as yours , I have been reading about the different methods and reading this thread helped me figure out how to do my own setup

I would definitely say so from the pictures, what size are the squares in your net? How tall was the plant when you hung it ? I read that you can start with 2 or 3 in squares kn the net and then add another, I'm only growing one plant and what to to do everything I can to ensure success
Ok my tent is 36in x 20in x63in, I wanted to go bigger but all my closets are only 24 in deep...

The holes are 4” squares. I didn’t place the bet until plants were about 18 inches bc I needed it to clear my dehumidifier and didn’t think to set the plant on something until it was to late. I will definitely place net closer Next time.
