First Time Set-Up - Advice Please! :)

Ah I just read that you have 4 under the 600 and 2 under the 400... 6 plants.. you should still been near what you need.
 
Thanks - they are a little crowded under the 600, but if i spread them out too far i am afraid they wong get enough direct light?
 
if they are crowded too much they arent getting any light, just keep it reasonable and you should be fine.
 
True - my thought was make sure the big buds get maximum light at the expense of some of the outer ones.
 
You could always LST a little bit too, get some string and tie it around the stem where nothing is growing and pull some branches away from eachother or open up the canopy a little more.
Then secure the line.

I'm sure you'll be fine though, A plant absorbs light as a plant, not as a branch, not as a top, not as a leaf.

I've noticed people try to make this out to be something harder than it is, we've been cultivating plants for thousands of years, just gotta go with how you feel. :]

Alright Team RIU - here are some photos i took last night - 33 days into flower, i bet the 3 Bullriders are done in 2-3 weeks. The Jack Herer is a bit behind.

Question for you guys - the tops are getting heavy and starting to tilt over a bit - should i be concerned about this? It would be hard for me to tie them up because they have gotten so big i have to pull them out to water them properly and these are thirsty little bitches (h2o every other day)

Also, fan leaves are starting to yellow a bit, but i guess this is natural?

Your ladies are looking mighty vigorous! :weed: If the tops are getting kind heavy I would invest in some bamboo sticks. Place those in your pots and tight the nugs to them for extra support. That way your big top colas won't break the branch from getting too heavy. Also, make sure your air flow is absolutely optimum. Those cola's are getting quite big so make sure the air flow inside your room is noticeable. Overall great looking ladies. As far as the yellow go, you should take pictures of it. If they are the bottom leaves then yes that is natural for them to yellow during the later stages of flower. Post some pics so I can better diagnose your plants :)

Here is an example of some yellowing fan leaves. I guess i have about 15-20 days left before harvest. Thoughts?

Alright RIU - here we are 41 Days into flower. I am getting a little trigger happy on two of the Bullriders - the fan leaves are almost all yellow, trics look a bit cloudy, there has not been much growth in the last week, and the buds look thick. My thought is that Sunday is D-day for the two most mature looking Bullriders as it was 45-53 days of flowering (had some auto flower traits).

I have been giving straight water/Agave Nectar now for 10 days to flush.

Thoughts/Opinions?

Jeez have they blown up or what! Ha ha great looking some stuff JJ. It's all preference at this point. Some growers will wait until they see all cloudy and amber, but others will cut as soon as they start getting cloudy trichs. IMO i wait till most of the hairs start receding into the bud. Usually by that time the bud is fairly cloudy and super sticky. Seems like you have everything under control. Just remember the drying and curing process can ruinnyour whole crop so that is what I would start researching before chop down comes. It would be ashame to ruin all those beautiful buds! Great stuff again!
 
Trimmed 3 garbage branches on the bottom of a Bull Rider - dried it for 2 days and then medicated with it - could not be happier. :)

Today 80% of the trics were cloudy with a few ambers poppin up...harvest is soon.
 
The curing on the samples is going very well - the "hay" smell is starting to fade and the buzz is improving every day.

OK - the first 3 pics are 46 Days into flower. I think i am going to chop on day 53. The fourth pic is of some bag seed from what I know are pretty good genetics, but just not sure what bag - but it is looking great and is only about 35 days into flow - it is tall and getting thick with buds!
 
Chopped one Bullrider the other day - about 105 grams wet. Looks good, lots of red hair and is drying now.
