First time Using H&G... a few pointers, please!

Hey RIU! Thanks for reading!
I plan on running a clean hydro system ala Al B Fuct. This means religious h2o2, tap water, good base nutes, and some pk in flowering.
Since plant # is an issue, I plan on using a setup like Flowamasta's. A single 12G Hempy Style Top fed Pot filled with Perlite. Return to rez.
My local Hydro Shop is no longer selling Canna, so I grabbed some Aquaflakes... I've heard good things about it, so I figured it'd be worth the $25 to grab some while I was there. Since then I've been reading more about them and some issues people have had.

So Here's my Questions:
1) Will Aquaflakes+Tap Water+ h202 make it through a 4-5 wk veg, Or will I NEED some of their additives? (I'm running Lemon OG Kush, so I think it can handle the extra cal/mag from tap)
2) Which of their products are compatable with H2o2? (I know RE is out, and prob algen x by the sound of it)

I'd like to make this product work, but if its too much of a hassle maybe I'll just return it and buy some canna aqua online. Help me be a believer, guys!!! Hahaha

I've been reading as much of the H&G thread as I can,but my int connection is absurdly slow, so its taking me a looong time to get through it.
Why do you say forget about the H2o2?
