Yay! My plants all turned 3 weeks old today, and all 6 are doing awesome.... i'm so happy with how this grow is going so far! Each plant has really taken on it's own 'personality' and shown how unique they are with specific characteristics and such. The vertical growth is not massive considering they are 21 days into the veg cycle (minus a few days when they were not yet under the 400w..), but I anticipate more rapid growth now that they're well past the baby stage and really starting to get bushy! I upped the nutes in today's watering to about 65-70% of the recommended dosage - there still haven't been ANY signs of too much or too little nutes OR water... so I'm very thankful, and have taken care to keep the water's pH down in the 6.5 - 6.8 range consistently as well. Our tap water is about 7.8 - 8.0 pH out the faucet, so i've been having to pH down my water pail almost every day between waterings (every 3 days) in order to keep it down....but totally worth it.
Well, enuf yammering.... here's the updated pix! As always, bring on the comments and observations'n such
Pic #1 - Alice - Finally Alice is showing me that she will definitely grow out of her deformity....eventually. Nice growth on her this past weel though! I'm happy, she's happy....it's all good so far!
Pic #2 - Barb - Barb was looking a hell of alot smaller only 3 days ago... she's still the runt, but every time I visit the plants, she causes me to 'double take', as I swear she looks a bit bigger each time I check! Still got the perfect symmetry goin on....love it!!
Pic #3 - Candy - Things are looking bushy inside on this plant - Candy has some wierd branches growth underneath the top growth and is looking like she could metaphorically 'burst' open at any time.... looks like one of these days she'll expand suddenly and make daddy proud! The genetics on these Bubblicious plants are definitely not perfect...
Pic #4 - Doris - My Dreamtime plants are starting to shown some uniqueness to them - Doris is starting to appear to have a heavy 'Skunk' distiction to her. Her leaves are giving off a sweet skunky smell which is noticeable different from the other Dreamtime plant, Deb....
Pic #5 - Deb - Deb's not a 'Skunk' I don't think - her leaves are much more narrow than Doris. Now that she's a bit older, she's gotten alot darker green than about 4 days ago, as she was a much lighter green at one point compared to the other plants and I was a tad worried for awhile that I may have over-watered her. Great constant new growth from her center though - always something new on the way it seems!
Pic #6 & #7 - Beth - Out of all 6 plants, Beth is still the grand-champ! Her leaves are always 'glossy green' looking it seems, and the growth is perfectly symmetric. Right now, the pairs of leaves in the past two nodes are almost exacctly the same size and width - from the top looking down, it's a perfect square from leave tip to leaf tip.... yes, i've got BIG plans for Beth - there will be a LARGE party if she truly ends up being female...and she was a feminized seed, so I'm giving her special attention as to not stress her at all... NO HERMS ALLOWED!!!
Okie....that's it for likely another 3-4 days at least! The playoffs have started, so I may not do another pic update until next Thursday - we'll see....STAY TUNED!!!
