First timer...how am i doing?

hello everyone, i am new to this site. ive been lurking for a long time now, but i finally managed to make my lazy a.s.s. an account. im completely new to growing cannabis, but i am fairly knowledgable of bio/chem, so ill be able to handle the terminology and concepts i hope to gain from the more experienced members here. ive done my hours of research, planning, preperation, site mapping, determining specific npk values for some of my known strains...etc. i am hoping to absorb as much knowledge on growing cannabis as possible. ive been smoking for 7 years now, but have lost my dank connection and can only get regs/mids, so i thought id put my big brain to work and grow some fire azz weed for myself, so here goes:

-i have 4 afghani females, they preflowered last week. i have 2 mountain mist plants, both female, and i have 2 unknown danks that were freebies from my seedbank, all that is known is that they are female. my male plants have small balls on the nodes, but ill be pulling them really soon. i just want to make sure they are males before there pulled as i am greedy and want enough of a stash to last me a year...

so, seeing the double calyx(sp?) on my girls, balls on my boys, pulled the boys, left with 8 fems: they are all averaging 4-5 ft., with the exception of an unknown fem, she is 6 ft. tall in june!!!!!! my mountain mist plants have short lives, 4.5 months total, they just started budding more than just preflowers and will be finishing in another 8 weeks for an early sept. pull . afghan is gonna take some time lol.

i am currently using only nitrogen bat guana 10-.2-.5 for veg, and i have the fox farm line for budding(all friggin bottles including the solubles!!!).

will this effort of mine get me enough grass to make it through a year? me and my old lady smoke on average 2-3.5 grams a day, so 1.62-2lbs is what i need out of 6 dank fems, 2 unknown shorter danks.

if anyone thinks im shorting myself through the year i also could quickly start some diesel ryder auto dwarfs i have. get a couple extras o's i think if needed.

so, Q's are: 1) did i grow enough for 2lbs for a year?
2) should i use something different than bat guano next year for veg?
3) will the fox farms line work well for me?
4) my 6 fter now will be at least 9 by full flowering time, what will she yeild if anyone wants to make a guess? (i know alot of variables will determine this, but make a guess lol)

i guess a lb for sure off the 6ft plant if they all get that big you will have alot of trimming to do. Your veg nutes are good I ave heard fox farms works not sure never used it. Sounds like you did you home work can I see some pics. dirrtyd

yeah man, ill get some pics of a mountain mist and an afghan. they smell fantastic. i only have a camera phone so i cant get closeups, but i will get some pics of the bushes. u think im alright just using nitrogen high bat guano for veg? i could have used something else, but i like the idea of easily flushing it out if i use too much or something, some of the other stuff i looked at seemed "chemy". also, what can i do besides topping to limit there size. im worried a heli might see a 9 footer this sep...

Lst, topping , FIM, an super croping ,i use all 4to keep em smaller.

Guanno should be fine all through veg.

I use Miracal grow moiture control, i dont think fox farm is worth the extra money an time to mail order it here to Bum fuck egypt.

From what i have heard afgani dont get super tall, 4-5 foot ish for a big one. you have a Whopper!


P.s Mexi brick bag seed i grew is the best weed i ever had in my 25 yrs s smoking buds. UNFUCKING BELIEVE ABLE! I will grow mexi seeds with my kinds cause the sativa is soooo gooood!

You'll need to start thinking about some support when they go into flower, cause your gonna need it if they're 6' already! & yeah you'll get your 2lbs!

True that. This darlin will be fallin all over herself when she flowers. So yup, get you a stake or something and support her. But, no doubt you're gonna have a substantial stash.
