So i had a gnat problem and i let the soil dry out and did the whole h2o2 treatment and threw up a couple sticky cards. since then ive let the top few layers of soil get bone dry before watering everytime. now one of my leaves has an odd sploch. also this plant is a clone and an original leaf is starting to die, heard this is normal for clones but also hear if it looks burnt something is bad, im not giving the plant any extra nutrients other than this plant tea my hydro shop dude gave me which is pretty much worm casting, its like .03,.03,.03. maybe 2 0s? also i test the ph of my reverse osmosis water. any feedback will be appreciated.. o and my gnats are not completely gone, maybe one or two here and there. not sure if i should do the sand trick too or its expected for a closet plant to have a couple gnats?

im working on finding a solution tour problem. from what i can gather so far is that it may be because of foliar spraying? do you use a foliar spray mix? do your plants go back under light wet? as far as the gnats the best thing ive heard to do is use cedar chip bedding and keep bowls of it around your plants. maybe even a layer on top of your soil and rake it back when you water. also when you let it dry out for the gnats let it dry out all the way through to the point your leaves even get droopy. the plant will bounce back the gnats wont.

not really.... you shold have enough air flow to evaporate that droplet before it burns anything. I have been doing this a long time and never have I seen this happen, even in low airflow environments. I think it is just an easy excuse when you don't know what the real problem is, kind of like the bible.
i heard water droplets are like lil magnifiers mixed with light can burn leaves so i just poor my plants water onto the soil.

yea and if the problem gets worse and you cut that leaf off it will show up on another where you can watch that one to see if it gets worse
