Good to know. Just read you need a good active soil.Yep. Dr Bruce Bugbee uses it in his mixes for this very reason.
I recently purchased some Mikrobs for my beds. I liked the mix, has molasses in it. Should ramp up soil biology if what it claims on the bag is true. We'll see.Good to know. Just read you need a good active soil.
Insect frass should have the right bio.
I guess learn something new every day.
Thats why I went cheap with LED, knowing id still need HPS for the heat. Then ill just grow like crap. I didnt change from 1k HPS to LED to then spend money on space heaters LOL
Mini Dehumidifiers dont run much watts. Second best is to bring humidity down to the room tempThats why I went cheap with LED, knowing id still need HPS for the heat.
What do you think of my top dress of choice? Is it not of a similar NPK ratio of many flower nutrients? Should I go out and buy something else? Will the effects take more than say a week to be noticeable? Will the yellow leaves ever recover? Sorry but I’m learning everything for the first time. Just need some direction. I’ve done hundreds of hours of reading but I’m still full of questions.Ah yes the famous week 3 yellowing. Newb here so just my thoughts. Plants use up a lot of food in the stretch. Either transplant to much bigger pots one week before flip or go heavy on the top dress right at flip and continue weekly. More experienced folks around here suggest the fish hydroslate. If you can get it that would give your plants a boost quickly. Neptune’s harvest 2-3-1 I think is what’s been recommended a lot.
good luck.
I think people switch to flowering nutrients too quickly and cut all the N when they flip. For me I had to feed with 4-4-4 longer into flower.Ah yes the famous week 3 yellowing. yeah I have ready that quite a lot lately. I also, top dressed right after flipping to flower with a layer of worm castings which are supposed to be rich in nitrogen but I didn’t notice much difference.I think people switch to flowering nutrients too quickly and cut all the N when they flip. Okay. Would the stretch not be over now? I’m entering week 4. And top dressed a 4-7-1Worm castings is only a 1-0-0 on the bag so it’s not rich in anything until everything is broken down. Run a 4-4-4 or similar until after the stretch is over.
Its more so how quickly the NPK becomes available. As said the fish stuff is highly recommend by the good folks here.If your in the usa you can get it.What do you think of my top dress of choice? Thanks!
Seems low on K. I use 2-5-3.Okay. Would the stretch not be over now? I’m entering week 4. And top dressed a 4-7-1
I’m in Canada but I’ll see what’s availableIts more so how quickly the NPK becomes available. As said the fish stuff is highly recommend by the good folks here.If your in the usa you can get it.
Gaia green is what you should be using in Canada. Or something similar.I’m in Canada but I’ll see what’s available
Google, dirt and grow fish bloom.Im in Alberta and was able to find at a local nursery.I’m in Canada but I’ll see what’s available
Sure, very common from my time around here.I had it also.Week 3 like clock work.I up potted from 5 to 10 gallon 1 week before flip.Plant doubled in size,Ive been mixing Gaia veg and bloom every week.At week 3 I noticed yellow.Ive upped my dosage and it appears to have stopped.Yellow leaves are still yellow but no new yellowing. So we’re going to go with nitrogen deficiency in early flower as the “diagnosis”
