Growing in small grow tent.
Water once daily
Fox Farm Soil - Ocean Forest
Day 12, seedling I assume

First time growing, and still learning the ins and outs. I am on Day 12, with some slow growth. My lights are LED 300W 18/6 schedule. I added some nutrients (Fox Farm stuff Grow Big) last night thinking it would help, but I may have been wrong.

My question, will my poor babies spread? Die? I plan to flush out the soil later today. Maybe let it dry up as well.

Unknow strains, bagseed. Wanted to try with bagseed first before getting some good seeds. Please Be Kind

Looks like you are keeping the soil to wet. Probably drowning the roots.
That seedling did not need to be fed for at least another 3 weeks or longer.
Feeding it Big grow could do more harm than good at that stage in ffof.
My 2c:
Don't flush, allow the soil to dry out some between watering and nothing but water for at least 3 more weeks.
Good Luck!

Hi Cloudkicker,
Kudos to you for using bagseed to learn with. A wise economical choice. I'm just going to throw out some hints but I suggest you add to your practical experience by reading.

Sometimes it gets really boring and abstract to read technical stuff. But a good way to learn is to find a successful grower here on RUI and read what they do. Lots of good discussions here.

OK...first it's safer to use a proper seed starting medium rather then a nutrient rich mix like FFOF. Some sensitive strains can get nute burned just from that soil.

Always shoot for a good wet/dry cyle to allow air to the roots (among other things). And to help with that wet/dry cycle... avoid putting tiny plant in a huge pot. Better to start small and up-pot at least 3 or 4 times till you get to your desired pot size.

Don't get super complicated with your nute regime. Always start low and work up.

Your mistakes so far are total newbie ones that could easily have been avoided. And you're going to have many more decisions to make. So better to learn what to do and do it right...rather then to learn by error at the expense of the plant.
Was that kind enough?

You should start the seeds in Light Warrior or sunshine mix 4 I like! just plain water the 1st week then a little nuts every other watering..
