First timer theory

Now, this year I plan on trying to grow a bit of my green outdoors a bit aways from my house, I have yet to choose a location but when I do I will post pics for thoughts, my theory is this, I'm planning on growing maybe 5 plants that I actually care for and look after, then maybe 4 groups of 5 that I just plant water once and put some animal repellent around then leave them and see how they do. Would an idea like that be reasonable? Also all I'm using is bag seed I get in my bud from time to time.

Yes it would be reasonable. Unless there is a drought, then you would have to water them.
By the way, some things to keep in mind. A decent percentage of your bagseed probably won't germinate. Also, unless the foilage in the area is very dense (which blocks sunlight), you will need fertilizer, preferably time release since you are not going to look after them.

Well if we get weather anything like we did this year I should be fine, this year we had rain at least once a week and a BIG thunderstorm every 2, water for them shouldn't be a an issue, I suppose I could germinate the seeds at home to see which are good or bad and maybe start them off to about half a foot then plant them, the foliage in the area seems pretty dense and the soil seems good for about a foot or two down, then it's just brutal clay. So I might get away without nutrients. Also best thing is, I'm quadding down a road that is literaly not able to use by any vehicle unless it's a big mud truck since tractors and combines go down it and put big 1 foot + ruts all over the road, so I doubt anyone will find it. Except maybe the other guy growing there, it'd be great if he nurtured my plants for me thinking they were his dontcha think :bigjoint:

ok your idea fails. i hope you get shot growing on pre-squatted land

No no, I know the guy smokes pot, he's my dad's old friend, but I'm not sure if he's growing there or not, just what some friends told me was he was parked on that road and went into the bush a bit, then left. But he is a hunter, so maybe he hunts there, either way I do agree, maybe that isn't the best spot to grow pot at.

Another spot just came to mind, I go down my road, down a quad trail, through a field, then into the bush. Technically no one is supposed to go there because there is a killer bee nest at the end of the second part of said trail, but I can easily avoid that I bet, and it'd be a nice place to grow more than likely since it's always seemed lush and lively.

You're picking all these moderately high-traffic areas.

You're growing weed, not jay-walking. Serious crimes get serious punishment. Look for a place NOBODY ever goes.
