First timr grower. please help.

after a lot of time i've been seeing around some great info. i'm about to start my first grow . i'll be growing flowerbomb kush.
i was thinking about. 3 plant. 80X80X160 grow tant. 600w Dauel spectrum lamp. and 12\12 lights from the begining. is that sounds all good ?

so 18\6 would be a better way to go?

600w Mh/hps should go in a bigger tent 4ft x 4ft is better or 1200 x 1200mm, as even with ventilation its gonna get hot, and yeah 18/6 for the first 2 months ...veg!

For growth absolutely. I run 24/0 with no probs.

im running 24/0 as well without any issues. only some bumps and bruises on my lil girl with nute problems but ill be ok. found my mistakes and what not so its going good.... but for lights I am going strictly CFL bulbs

this was on Dec 9th and this is taken yesterday View attachment 2957158 im still vegging and i have been using 24/0 for a long time now ever since i planted the seed my lights have been on 24/0. CFLs are a pain cause you have to adjust the lights but the electric bill is happy

So, rex isnt wrong. Most people who grow cannabis do so with a seedling/clone stage, a vegetative stage and a flowering stage. However if you are limited on space or time, you can set your light to 12/12 from the beginning of germination of the seeds through the end of flower with great results. But yes if you veg ur plants its likely your outcome will be better, assuming you dont somehow kill them all first, which with more time equals more opportunity for screwing up for the new grower. If your looking for ease and speed 12/12 from seed works great!

also which base is better for optimal plant growth. soil or coco?

Organic is the way to go for better taste an smoothness plus its cleaner for the plant
