Last grow I used unsulphured blackstrap molasses 1 tbsp per gallon during last 4 weeks. Buds are more frosty and sticky with bud candy.

if you use bud candy try big bud and rhino skin... if you like AN... i bought humbolt county honey hydro formula for my carbo booster, i run synthetic w/ dyna gro , much much cheaper than AN. I do like their bio line but at the same time ive heard great things about botanicare's pure blend pro organic line, and that is also cheaper.

bottom line is if your putting money into bottled nutes, and getting advanced nutrients brand, you may be able to cut your cost by going with a cheaper brand, as AN is on the expensive side.

if you really want to save money look into AACT or True living organics

I also use iguana grow and bloom as organic base nutrients.
There's no such thing as organic bottled nutes that don't need biologically active soil to break it down, and that is safe for hydroponics. It's a scam. Not organic. Don't say earth juice because that shit's no good for hydro. And just because it smells funny, doesn't mean it's organic. Mor-Bloom smells like fish and is a chem nute, just derived from some organic sources. But it doesn't mean it's organic. AN is taking advantage of that fine line (by lying) to reel people in that want organic but don't want to fuck with organic soil, or don't have the skill to.

Really? whats your point?

He's saying it's snake oil.

I do use big bud, overdrive, and bud candy along with my base nutrients. I do not find advanced expensive. I buy most in 250ml bottles. Which last me a good while growing a plant at a time.

unclepirate kind of just covered this, but I just want to put it out there that botanicare PBP isnt organic. Neither are any of the foxfarm ones. in this industry organic is really just used as a buzz word to market to hippies.

it might be organic based, but it's not organic. A lot of these companies will add some kelp or worm castings and call their product organic based. but it's still got all the nitrates and other salts that your synthetic nutrients have.

Having said that, pure blend pro is good stuff.
