Very first grow. Using an upper cabinet that I fit with 5 45 watt led strips wrapped around the box for supplemental light and 2 45w down lights up top. 1 4" inline fan blowing in and another 4" inline fan sucking out I got 2 clones from a friend strawberry cough (small) and Ron burgundy (larger) we'll see what happens. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Every one that looks at this will say it won't work the spectrum is wrong and you need more light ... But if you think it's enough then good luck

Agreed. There's no way that white light has enough red and blue, grow lights have a purple tint (red and blue).

Considering there's so much of it, you'll probably be able to grow SOMETHING, but I just see the poor sucker being light starved.

If you continue to grow like this you may as well take a fist full of cash and burn it cause all your really doing up to now is paying the electric bill for no return but as ever each to there own

Don't take too long easing it in. They look like they can handle that. I predict failure or you buying a real light soon.

Yea it's really cheap to get enough cfls to get something back. I have an orphan quarantined in my closet with 2 4bulb cfl fixtures I made and it is really impressive at <4weeks flower. I think I spend under $20 per fixture all in, but the parts are way cheaper on ebay if you have the time for shipping. I just used a simple 2 bulb T fixture, then added a Y adapter to each socket leaving me with 4 bulbs in an X pattern. Perfect size and shape for a flipped $1 turkey tray ;). 2 rigs side by side in a DIY CFL SCROG (phew!) on top of a dresser. I really just didn't want to cull the plant, now it looks like I'll have at least 40g spare herb :)

There's actually white lights like this that a led made specifically for growing cannabis, its top quality but i dont his is like the one i am mentioning. It'll get somehwere but it would be equivalent to using cfls in a cabinet grow. Which is good for personal smoke
