Flatrate Farms

Update.

Sorry haven't updated in a bit, been busy with work, growing, and the holidays. Also had a small harvest a couple weeks ago and spent a solid weekend trimming. And yes @DoubleAtotheRON I trimmed it all myself, still hate trimming but due to cutbacks I laid off my trimmer, but she is coming back on the next harvest.

Speaking of harvest, the last was Pop Rocks from Envy Genetics. Actually smoking some right now. Really nice fruity smoke with plenty of kick. Really don't have any pictures of the harvest but you can see pics of the Pop Rocks in previous posts.

Nutrients.

So when I started this journal and for a good number of plants I ran Nectar for the Gods, good stuff but too many bottle and time consuming to mix, plus kinda expensive. Made the decision a couple weeks ago, its gone for good and tossed what I had left. I checked out Dyna Gro for one run or so, it was okay.

Then after looking into things and working with it for a bit I settled on General Hydroponics FloraSeries. I can get it for what I feel is a good price, hell a couple weeks ago I scored some of the mains for $10 a gallon. Plus it just flat out works, thanks again for your time and knowledge @Renfro. I am sticking with GH for the future.

Soil.

Since the start I've been using NFTG #4, great soil and planned on continuing to use it. I was looking around for something else. I looked into Roots Organic as I can get it a little cheaper then #4. I was able to score some Roots for $7 a bag on a deal, half the price of #4, so thats what I am running for awhile.

This is going to be my first cloning project, I call it Project SMOG. Envy Genetics SMOG (SFV OG x CaliSunset). I got 4 in solo cups right now, when they are ready I will collect samples and send them off to Delta Leaf Labs.

Shit man, just too much of everything lately...work, homeschooling, fussing with the lady, too many empty Coors boxes filling up the trash bin. Too many Covid test nose jabs. Only reason I'm home right now is I'm waiting on some test results, which I should be happy to have some down time but it only seems to push obligations further into the 'ohhh fuck, how am I ever going to catch up' zone.

In reality I've got it pretty damn good, food on the table, presents under the tree, half pound of decent outdoor stashed in the basement and complaining makes me feel like a little bitch. But I'm tired and sick right now.

Seriously though, your recent pictures look fantastic! Absolutely drool worthy. I was down in OK for work last week in the Claremore area...thought of you and AAron tearing ass around the countryside as youngsters.

I hope you feel better. I know what you mean man, even though I cut down at time spent on the job somehow I got busier LOL. A lot of days I try not to think about growing and try to spend time focused on other things and hobbies. Don't get me wrong I love growing, but caught it trying to consume me. I am throttling back very soon.

So you were in Oklahoma, yeah man I did have a blast while I was there. Good thing you didn't look up @DoubleAtotheRON while you were there, he would have conned you into trimming some. Ya can't trust that guy!
