flint councilman in a bit of trouble. you guys see this?

drunk driving, and possession? whats the big deal about posting articles? must have had a good buzz on to be driving on 4 flat tires, and be in the process of changing ONE as the cops pulled up. sounds like he was needing to not be on the road, no?

idk some radio host is raising a stink on Mlive. probably just trying to get some fans. flint is a crazy city and has never really ran "traditionally" by my understanding.

the guy only blew a .11, that is a little fact that keeps nagging at me. idk anyone who at .11 is gonna drive the wrong way down the expressway on 4 flats....

FLINT, MI – The newly elected Flint City Council includes a convicted killer, a man who served probation for felonious assault and two people who have gone through personal bankruptcies.
Wantwaz Davis, who beat incumbent Bernard Lawler by 71 votes to win the Fifth Ward seat, served 19 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in 1991.

Davis said he didn't hide his murder conviction from voters and openly talked about the conviction with residents, but it never was publicly reported. The Journal learned of the conviction Wednesday and Davis confirmed it when asked.
"The council people are elected. They're going to get sworn in on Monday. Nothing you write about it is going to change it now," Council President Scott Kincaid said. "It's not something that was hidden or should be a surprise to constituents in the Fifth Ward."

Now this one on the other hand^^^

heh, that exact observation was worked into stand-up on episode of Louie i saw just last night. perhaps murder is too common in our society as well.. yes clearly both r extremely unforgivable, but if you're upset enough murder can actually be overlooked. strange
