My advice to you would be get hold of a hps light money folked out a the start will only be rewarded by nice yeild at the end.I'm not saying the cfls have not got a place in the growing of cannabis they just aint got the juice to get a plant to yeild.Go to a web site that sells hps lights and if you shop around you will be supprised how much the light kits are.I have just got 3 600 hps lights with ballast bat wing reflectors for £85 each.If you are new to the grow scene then do your research like your doing look how the pro's do it like greenhouse/thc labs and you will soon be produceing plenty of the finest cannabis anywhere.The jackherer that i grow is has good has any that i have smoked in amsterdam easy.You can easy produce 9 ounce min of a 600 watt light you get what i saying the light will pay for the electric used and the grade a cannbis that you smoke.Have the cfl's that you have for getting clones up to a foot tall so that the plants in flower will take 8 week the clones that you take of the bottom of the plants in flower you can put under the cfl's but i would add a couple of strip flouresents 3 ft ones are fine daylight spec get these cool though has they will need to be near touching the tops of the clones have the cfls warm daylight.By takeing clones of the bottom of a few plants you are doing the plants a favour by lollypoping them this needs to be done any how.This is the way that i grew before i moved to a house that i could keep a mother plant but this way works just has well.But once a year i like to get hold of the same seeds has i'm growing and start with new seeds because femanised seeds have a tendecy to turn hermi after growing in this way after so long.Get everthing perfect in the grow area before even putting any plants in there check temps with lights on and with lights off.You are looking for a constant temp.
