Hi All,
I just switched from Floranova bloom to Floranova grow and noticed a huge change in the Ph level of my tank.
I had been mixing 1gal distilled water with 2tbsp of the bloom mix and the Ph was stable around 6.0-6.8.
This last week I switched to the Grow solution, again 2tbsp to 1gal of distilled water and the GH test kit now says I'm at 5.0 Ph.
Is this bad, could I have a bad batch of floranova? Or is it normal now that Ph is so much lower? If not, I have seen somewhere that there is some kind of solution to nutralize my tank or I may return the grow solution back to hydro empire for a new pint.
I also am really considering draining my resevoir and filling up with a fresh gallon of distilled/floranova bloom, where the Ph appeared to be much more stable.
note: I have three fish tank bubblers in the res providing oxygen, which has helped tremendously.
What do you think?
