keep them as close as you can. what type of tubes are they? if not sure, do they run cool to the touch? you could get a couple cheap cfl's and hang them in between plants to maximize the amount of light possible. the key here is keeping them as close as possible. also make sure your walls are reflective so paint them flat white or cover them with white plastic poly.

yeah try to sneak in as many cfl's as possible to go with the big fixture. Just remeber that during the veg cycle u want 6500kelvin rating and 3000 for flowering, give or take. Thats the bitch about flouro's. they just dont penetrate that well. Pack em in and super crop and fim to spread the plant out and you'll pull a harvest.

I would recomend flowering soon. If they get to a foot before you flower your gonna have some stretchy plants. The lower buds wont fully develop. It would skip the fimming and supercropping. These methods do increase yield in small spaces but they also increase plant matter and you dont have the light to do it properly. I think if you tried to get one fat bud off each plant you have better quality herb in the end. Hope this helps FL!p...

Which is why lollipoppin is so popular among SOG and SCROG

Lollipopping is remove about 1/3 of the bottom of the plants branches. This is done to eliminate the small popcorn buds, and increases the bud @ the time exponentially!

its for very very thick plants in a mature state. The idea is to get rid of the the leaves to open up the good parts of the plants. We are talking 4 to 6 ft plants here. Not your average houseplant. After lollipopping your super cropped plant will turn into a crazy bud producing animal..

I think may be confused with the LST method,Basically training a lolipop, which require more veg time. Generally lolipoppin' is flowering clones with little to no veg time. While keeping lower 1/3 trimmed to stop branching.

No, sorry, brah, yer almost right. I explained wat lollipoppin is. It has NOTHING to do w/the flowering time of clones. It is a very simple horticulture technique. It is the removal of the bottom 1/3 of the branches (as ya said in yer post), but it is not only to stop the branches from forming, but to concentrate the growth to the main kola.
Flowering clones w/virtually no veg time is just a common practice. As far as I can tell, ppl do this to get the LEAST amount of bud from their clones as possible. Vegging clones fer as lil as a week will improve EVERYTHING about yer plant, not to mention yer yield
