floresent lights for new growth

I haven't grown in awhile and I wasn't that advanced. But I have had good success in the past for myself. My first question is:

i bought plant and aquatic ecolux florescent lights for my new growth.
f40pl/aq-eco wide spectrum lights. Is this adequate until i need to switch to MH/HPs system.

And I purchased BIG BUD STRAIN, and the yield amount is 450gs. I know its safe to say I'm not growing a plant that is going to yield that much let alone 25 of them. Not enough space, so what would a legit end dry yield be for a moderate grower.(attention to detail is my motto) (or don't fuck up) :joint:

Thanks and happy growing everyone.

with a hid the goal is generally to get 1g per watt however you wont come near that with cfls generally. So you would require a 400w hps to come near the projected yield of that plant.

well i have 2 systems
A 400 watt mh and a 400 hps ( didnt buy the conversion pack like i should have years ago so i will use that once it switches to that stage of growth.
But will the new growth respond well to the floresents until its time to go big?

edit: and how long do i use them

dats a good questioni've bin askin the same thing and even bin doin research on it and it still dont give much info on how long we can grow wit floresent lights.

im glad its a good question. ive been tearing out a bathroom fopr this and am looking at a particular area for a grow and clone area, but dont want to put a lot of effort for something that can be moved if its not a necessity. also knowing how long to use florescent i can time new cycles and speed production.
