yeah, i haven't heard very many crickets lately, maybe these frogs are serving their purpose. i see them around my water filter, i just leave them be.

OOOOh check your aerator. They are hanging around your water filter and probaly living in it too and pooping in your aerator. If they are then just add a little chlorine tablet every couple weeks to keep em out. I know this because it happened to me when I first moved in. heh

only add a small amount of chlorine. we get the three inch tablets and break them into quarters. but we use chlorine to help keep the sulfer bacteria down. if you use too much chlorine you can ruin your filters. then you have to get the filters rebedded with new mineral and it gets expensive. just thought id tell ya cuz i work on water treatment systems and just tryin to save you from a hassle

I just use the 1 inch tablets because too much chlorine kills me. I have an old system and old school softener and my water guy tells me to add more chlorine. I do not have any filters other than the softener torpedo thingy. And it seems when I add the chlorine the water stinks of sulfur more. When the tablet is gone I do not smell sulfur at all but for like 3 days after I put in a new tablet I smell it. When I bought the house it was sitting for almost 2 years because it was foreclosed on and you would not believe the smell of the water when I got the well working again. I almost puked every time I ran the water. It is clear and clean now even without the RO. I always drink the RO though and so do my girls.

Where I am there is actually a very heavy Dutch and German population. And if you don't like immigrants then America is the wrong place because we were all immigrants at one point.

Finally got my first indoor CFL grow started! So this snap of cold weather and rain can bite me! My girls are warm, and residing on the beach getting big and tan!

Hello all. I just wanted to say I put my throw back veg box back in action. Its a under worked 3 year old cardboard box. One 300 watt cfl real watt 65. One 140 watt cfl real watt like 30. A small but powerful exhaust fan. Ok. I mentioned before I can whip up some moonshine. The reason I am putting the box back in action is a test. I have vegged several plants in that box with nothing extra but lights and fan. I have added one special addition to the box. Its shine mash. The mash reproduces 2 things, Alcohol and Carbon Dioxide. The co2 escapes from the balloon. The plant is 8 days old. I can see a big difference. The plant is the size of two week old plants I have grown in the past. Take a look.

You wont have a prob in florida mate, we accept all kinds, shapes sizes color

You may find the occasional racist but that's anywhere in the world. Try to keep out of the hoods. Dont get me wrong a lot of good people live in hoods but a lot of bad things can happen to outsiders. All around Florida has a laid back culture. As long as you don't break the law in public.

This thread totally took off. I no longer live in Florida but still a Floridian at heart. Moved to the other coast a year and a half ago. I miss Florida a lot tho, its amazing to think I used to be bothered by having to drive an hour. Everything in Socal is over an hour away... EVERYTHING. Nothing beats the east coast beaches in my opinion although the mountains here rock.

One thing I dont miss about FL... the humidity.

Aww man. Like a legend the thread lives on. Yeah man we love to have our own thread. Thank you for beating a lot of us to the punch.LoL. Yeah that humidity will kill you in the summer. Really though man good looking out.
