on another note i made a pipe out of weed stalks that works pretty damn good, will try to post pics of it tomorrow when i finally get some pics for people. might even slip in some pics of what ive got started for winter here ;)

ive never saw this thread. love florida, lived on and off with girl for 2 years in the pensacola area when i was a wee lad. used to spear flounder in the bay. what a blast. still visit 1-2 times a year, if not the caymans. feel like i belong by the water. you lucky mofos...:leaf:

Born and raised in punta gorda, port Charlotte 20 yrs and moved to Michigan. Got legal and doing it the right way. Miss my siesta key spot. Perfect beach to blaze for sure

I'm going to FL on the first of Jan--can't wait! I'm staying 4 months, plenty of time for a crop.
Anyway, I'm starting my plants up here in NY to give them a head start and bring them down with me by car. I'm thinking of vegging them inside under 20/4 lights for few weeks, then put them out. Will they start flowering right away? Is there a best time to put plants out in FL in the winter so they still have time to flower, but not so late that they will re-veg?

And what about a veggie garden? Can you plant one anytime?

(I'll be in SWFL where it almost never freezes.)
