I concur, if floridian's can get the law passed we can work on the laws and regulations over the years but like drolove said we gotta get our foot in the door, that's essentially the first step in the process.

Our foot in the door is pretty much a foregone conclusion. At that point they will have 6 months to create rules. The legislature could enact something during the next session which could bump up that time table. We need rational rules from the onset. Hopefully the will of the people gets considered.

No doubt. The thing is, the ballot language gives the docs wide discretion which is what we want.

Hey guys Central Florida here (fuck Grady Judd) so can any Floridan help me with a few answers. When the vote passes fr medical mariquanna how freely do you think they will be issued? I've had massive back surgery three years ago so i'm hoping with that I can just get one. But who knows, I know I'm a happy person when I smoke, so I plan on getting a card. Anyways thanks for the replys, keep tokin, n growin.

Northwest Florida here, I tend to think the hard part is going to get the Doctors to write a prescription for MM but time will tell. I was thinking of telling my pain med doc that he could cut all pain meds in half if he writes me the script. BTW, I have been meaning to take some good pics of my new grow. In the morning I will take some pics that will show the whole grow, but for now, here is my current girls that turned three weeks old on Sunday.

Thanks for the advice, and three weeks old? I must be doing it wrong with my grow i attempted they were no where near that size. But i feel like the heat stunned them. But I'm so excited to complete a first grow, but what i abosolutely can't wait for is a some good outside grow and prolong vegging for huge bushes.

That may not be the case just so you know. Many of the rules and what will and wont be allowed will be ironed out during the regulation hearings that will take place for the following 6-7 months after Amendment 2 is passed. The ballot language is very vague, although there is this key statement.
"The Department shall issue reasonable regulations necessary for the implementation and enforcement of this section. The purpose of the regulations is to ensure the availability and safe use of medical marijuana by qualifying patients"
This key phrase means that if any citizen feels that regulations passed are "not reasonable" or interfere with "availability and safe use" that there could be grounds to sue. Therefore citizens could sue on the basis that dispensary only access interferes with "availability".
Just be prepared for years of court battles if Florida is too strict or too vague. Here in MI they are still trying dozens of cases 5 years into the law, just to attempt to settle the legal grey areas from or vague law.

Here's my gripe with that sentiment; what, exactly, is wrong with supporting the society that provides so much opportunity that we can be this successful? The idea that any of us do it alone is so laughable only the most misguided and unenlightened actually believe it. Therefore I pay my taxes with a thing called pride, to a place I think is worth supporting.
The idea that it's acceptable to cheat and evade paying taxes is indicative of the selfishness of the individual, not the moral rectitude of the act. If you don't like how it's being spent, BITCH! Since hardly anyone else does, it's amazing how much attention you'll get.
If you think our country is so far over the cliff that it's okay if no one paid taxes anymore, what does that say about your belief in country? I think those who find ways to evade paying taxes to be cowards and traitors, and nothing less than that.
It is fashionable and easy to join that gravy train. I just don't like its next stop.
