This hiking season on the FT there were a lot more you tubers than usual. The first three days on trail you wade through water, but no one saw any gators until they got up into the canal sections. (it wasn't as thick as in the picture, but there were lots of gators in the canals)
I worked on a waste treatment plant in Savanna Ga. , it had a canal on one side of the road and gators were about 8-10’ apart for a quarter mile. We may have harvested a couple for grilling after the plant closed at night.
