flou/sunlight grow

dont know what the actuall strain is just know its something out of canada anyways feel free to takea look and let me know how it looks its a month old
left the flous on for 3 days and dident check and i noticed a burnout like smell in the room so i quickly grabbed the fixture and smelt it and underneth it was hot and my rug was warm so i assume i almost started a fire its too bad because you dont see many 2 foot flex fixtures with double t's anymore i figured it was solid metal nice three prong plug but it was too old i got lucky i cought it before my place burnt down so if anyone knows where i can find a double 2ft fixture i would like that because it seemed to work the best ive used the 6 foot with 2 40 watts and doesnt seem to promote much growth just runs up ur electric bill ive found the smaller fixtture works better with the right bulbs ive used natural sunshine and a ge eco type both together and seperate and doesnt seem promote good growth i use 2 f15 t8's made by ge and they work real well. the key is to use the right type of bulb some people belive that you have to mix ge with philps bulbs because thats all anyone talks about with flous. Really u could use 2 different kinds of one company.ive herd that growlux bulbs work real well from old timers but no one seems to use them much these days wonder if u can still get them. Also its been raining for about 2 weeks and everything is soaked too much humidity if only we had the heat that everyone else is getting i cant forsee this thing producing much by octobers end

well its been one hell of a rough 2 months over here as far as rain goes everything is soaking rivers are high but ive survived 2 months or 2 and a halfi forget witch age it is but its alive still and well i think check it out ppl and feel free to comment i took one pic of it at its latest age there seems to be alot of pointy nodes havent read up on that but a buddy says nodes early are strange but can be good i dont know for sure but here it is http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/10/16/1514335/Picture 12.jpg i know it looks dark because my cam sucks right now someone lost my other cam and took stupid pics of ppl puffing and now its in the hands of someone

What i dont seem to understand is this thing dont look very tall for 2 months old or bushy seems like most ppls grows on here are real bushy looking after just 18 days idk what is going on must be my light source is too weak??? any ideas

you should try putting the lights closer. how far away are they. and what soil, temp, ph, nutes are involved?

For one and two months, that plant is tiny!

I've got some seedlings that are 2.5 wks old and at least triple the size of your plant at one month, and mine are small compared to more experienced growers for sure.

yeah i know i was using a desk t8 fixture flex with double tubes that burnt out now i been using 2 flour fixtures one ge plant and a and another philps ns 15w each and when its real sunny and hot out i put them outside ???

i also now have brown like holes in my leaves a couple so ill assume i got some kind of pest i sprayed my leaves with the soapy oil solution and seems like its getting worse the hole getting bigger and btw i dident use ferts i have scotts soil so i assumed it had its own nuts and dident wanna over nut it so i waited till about 2 weeks ago and aded some gauno and mixed it in i was told it should take off now so hopefully i had it on a 24/7 for the 2 months and still all u see is this small puky thing

also it appers that i have a stinky bud at the top of this barly 2 ft plant that will prolly be the only bud ill ever get my guess

heres some more pics shes doing bad

notice the brown like spot in the leaf starting to come thru i bet bad news. heres pic 2 does

Doesnt look like the oil soapy water trick is working im still getting holes worser everyday

ive tryed a special mixture of coffe grinds and pepper ive poked 3 holes wit a screw driver down in as thats all i could find n add some grind mix n pushed it down to hopefully drive the slugs out the bottom and into a catch pan ive added sopay water solution to in hopes they will drowned

well guys ive transplanted tha thing and it seems to be doing better used a different pot a bigger one and new soil seems to be sorta coming back to life well on the top most of the old growth which is lower dont look that good but a couple of leaves appear to have went from drooping down sagging to turning up right and curling
