flower power

i am new to this site but not new to the game. its always been my belief that growing indoors isnt to mimic mother nature but to become her. in all my reading on here over and over i see 12/12 to flower. im sure this will get alot of mixed replys but y havent any of u flowered in 36 on 12 off i have done this for 15 years and light is energy. try it if u like or dont but plants do only need 1 photoperiod every 48 hours to flower

I dont think I could afford to run lights for 36 hours or I might try it, do you have any pics of the results?

i like to think im "mother nature" as well but i also believe that what works works so i havent messed around with different light cycles. if you have any grow journal sid love to see how it works for you

im sure most of the research has been done on legal flowering plants but it should still pertain to marijuana

sounds like a waste of energy. and a stupid idea. i cant beleive u baged on me cuz i said opiching was bad. and you dont even know how to grow. using a 36 on 12 off how stupid wasting energy and time for nothing

if someone told "eddison" the lightbulb was a stupid idea. we'd still be in the dark. whats good for the goose is not always good for the gander. if thats the way deisel grows then that his technique, but do post side by side picks when the time comes...peace

Idk I don't think id do 36 on 12 off seems like a bad idea feel free to prove me wrong with a journal though

well purp i dont know about opiching is that something guys do to each other? but if i recall u said pinching was dirty because u have to use ur hands. i dont agree with the way some of these people r doing it the whole soften the stem till it flops over when all u have to is pinch the new growth it heals and u still have ur main but to each there own but i dont know whats so dirty about it maybe that opiching leave poop under the nails ?

do u mean pinch as in suppercropping or pinching tops off.

i never top just super crop. im not tryen to say that light cycle will make ur stuff ripen any faster but it pumps out some sick amounts of trichs. i have seen the same strain grown by friends and theres didnt turn out the same but i cant call that a side by side as everyone has there own ideas as to the way they like to do things. try it dont try it im just throwing it out that plants will flower in 36/12. just like vegging some people say 18/6 some 20/4 me im full on 24/7. what i did do a side by side of this time around was soil against hydro and other than darker green the hydro is bllowing it out of the water flower size trichs there is no contest esp anything that the roots made it into the res
