Flowering and Lighting (pics)

Update:
10 days into flowering. HPS light arrived today and I have set it up. I have been looking closely and noticed some pistils maybe... I will probably add the 2 fluorescents back into the grow on the sides once I get another extension cord.
So I know this setup is not the best by any means so any suggestions will be noted. I do not feel like making it into a remote ballast at this point. Nor do I feel like putting any money into getting it a hood. I just want to somehow give my babes as much light as possible.
What do you guys think about my wiring. I cut all the wires down and twisted them up very securely then put electrical tape all around the wires. Does this look sufficient? I am very worried about it being a fire hazard and hope that it is ok.
Any suggestions for the setup or anything else will be noted and much appreciated.

Thanks :peace:

I got some wire nuts and fixed up the electrical on the HPS. Hopefully this will work out well. I have some pics up of it for people so they have an idea of what I was doing.

I have had them in flowering for 15 days now. The smaller one is definitely a female and the healthier one is showing some pistils as of today. I am scared that the big one may be a hermie though. Only time will tell. I am excited that both have pistils though.

Room starting to smell a little more. I'll keep you guys updated with pics.

My current setup has helped out a lot. The fluoros don't really put out that much light but they do give the sides a lot more than just the HPS would. The girls are doing really well lately so I am happy and have kept the setup the same. I hope it works out for you.

Have you had a chance to remote the ballast or make a reflector? Your baby would really love you for it.
