flowering and no buds yet?

That long and no buds you got light leaking in and keeping in VEG or if there are white hairs forming just maybe you got a freakishly long flowering strain. there are strains that can take over 16 weeks but they are rare and are harder to grow. Look up DR. grinspoon weed it is a long lifer. How much light you got on them? if it is a super low light set up it could make this happen.

Just give it time. If its on 12/12 lighting you should be fine, unless its a male. What is the strain?

im no expert (only on my second grow) but it looks like you have some stretching going on there (a sign that the lights are either too far or not strong enough). if this is indeed the case it will take longer to flower.
take it from me. i started with 23w cfls and had to veg a month and 3 weeks just to get my plants a ft tall...best my plants did was like 3/4 inch -1 inch a day...they averaged half an inch of growth per day. i switched to a hps system and now they get 2 inches a day on average...topping out at 4 inches in a day at one point!
the other issues could be that your dark period isnt so dark. (ie light leaking in). if you're flowering you need 12 hrs light...12 hrs dark.
if you have a sativa strain it also will take longer to flower.
you must also keep in mind that as the plant begins flowering the "buds" wont appear to look like regular "buds" as they form. generally it doesnt actually start looking like actual weed until the late stages of flowering...
post more pics and more info please. like what strain it is...what type of light and watts/lumens/kelvin rating they are...what type of soil r u using? etc.

are you trying to flower with florecent lights or are you flowering with hps on top and just using floro`s for side lighting .

HPS on top 400watts, and 1 cool / 1 warm fluro for side lighting, so i dont think lighting is the issue. i have the plant as close as i can get it to the light keeping it about 1 1/2 foot from the top of the plant. no light leaks...in a totally controlled light/dark periods. there is a little stretching going on but its from the side shoots, the colas are looking fine. ill post some more pics tommorrow. its about 3 ft tall at the moment. im not 100% sure on the strand, it was just out of some killer bagseed that i was lucky enough to find a seed out of the bag. and definitly 1000000% sure its not a male
