Flowering and sexing question?

I am 5 days into flowering and might just be inpatient, but I can only see little balls appearing, I know that both male and female start off with little balls and the females then sprout 2 pistils, my question is how long do the pistils take to sprout and will it be really obvious which are male balls and which are female?

They should be coming fairly quick... The hairs will show before pollen does! How old are they from seed? Do you have a picture?

Those little balls you see are call Caylx, both male and female plants have them, they are the casing for the reproductive organs. Just give it a few days, make sure there isn't any light leeks. Mine usually show sex in 10-14 days.

Thanks for all your replies guys, its my first grow so im paranoid that im gonna fuck things up. Patience seems to be the key. Cant wait to get first grow under the belt, hopefully things will be easier second time around. :hump:
