Flowering clones?

Hi all,
I've just cut some clones to try and determine if the the past few month's growing is wasted or not lol.
currently the clones are under a veg light, just wonder as I'm using CFLs would it kill them to let them root under a warm light in hopes that the sex will become apparent quicker, they are freshly cut clone in individual propagtors, I was gonna try and let them root just on a 20w bulb not my full 250w one, and ideas?

The waiting to find out the sex is killing me!!!!

Like any expectant parent, you are excited. I don't think you need more than that to get them to root. If you are going to sex them afterward you will want more light.

Yeah I have more light, for vegging I use a 200w veg evirolite, and for flowering a 250w flowering envorlite, but I thought rather than leave them to root under the veg light, them wait to find out the sex, just root them under a little cfl because they're too small to follow through with flowering on anyways. ?

from my experience, putting small seedlings and/or clones under a single 27w 2700K (warm) has been very sufficient, infact, my seedlings grow rediculously large very fast, not tall but bushy and lush, with or without a light nutrient application. i use a desklamp for every 4 or 5 dixie cups or clones.
