I want to determine the sex of my bagseed plant. Can I take a clone and then flower it immediately or do I have to root it first?

Keep it on the 12/12 light cycle while its rooting and just continue to leave it on that light cycle even after its rooted....it will show you the sex soon enough.

I say root it first. Then put it in 12/12 immediately after you see the first roots.

Mum will show sex before the clone.

I agree, by the time your done with all the extra clone games your mom will have probably shown sex

Thanks for the tips guys. The mom is still in veg, I am not looking to get anything off of the clone I just wanted to know if the plant was male or female and if the fresh cutting would live in 12/12
