Flowering nute burn...

Hey guys. First time grower, so please bear with me. It's a laughing buddha strain, so heavily sativa. 5 weeks into flowering. Two to three weeks into flowering got nitrogen deficiency, most of the lower leaves started turning yellow very fast, because of the nutrient switch (dont know the chemical composition of the nutrients, but the producers are Advances hydroponics and they recommend removing their Grow nute from the mix after a couple of weeks or so into flowering). Anyways, corrected that by adding a strong dose of nitrogen and overall nutrients and everything looked good for a week or so. Then, for the last couple of weeks I've been having nute burn symptoms - leave tips curl up and dry, and some of the leaves got grown burn spots. Flushed them properly, until runoff ppm was 90 (watering ppm is 50). Added almost a normal dose of nutrients, in order not to starve it, however symptoms don't seem to go away - at least as far as leave tips are involved. Starting to wonder if the plant is root bound, however I don't think replanting is a feasible option anymore. Any ideas or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Soil indoor growth, 5 gal. pot, temps are in the range of 22-26 C, humidity - 42-48 percent. PH water - 7; PH soil test - 6.5-6.7. 250 CFL light.71C875E5-7706-4797-BA54-DE90C75921E6_1_201_a.jpegimage10.jpegimage0.jpegimage3.jpegimage4.jpegimage5.jpegimage6.jpegimage7.jpegimage8.jpegimage10.jpeg

Medium - soil, 5 gallon pot
Ph - 7 watering, 6.5 runoff
Feeding schedule - once a week, every other watering
Strength of nutes as in % of manufacturer suggested amounts - until flower was in the range of 25-30%. after switching and nitrogen deficiency - 100%
What exact nutes - Advanced hydroponics of holland

Lol

Burnt tips is not a deficiency, it's excess

Soil, unless a buffered substrate, should be ph of 6.5

Obviously, that’s why made the name of the thread Flowering mute burn... ph in soil IS 6.5... Any suggestions what to do, that’s is my question? I did flush her to zero and gave her 75% recommended dose of nutrients.

Run the bloom schedule for the nutes

Bump calmag and pk if u have a booster

Ph at 6.5 if just soil that has no buffers

And never push N in flower

I would not feed her if you see symptoms of burn. Than use epsom in your next watering to suplly Mg and S, I do not see any marks of Ca def so no need to use calmag IMo. If you measure your soil pH in runoff you must water the pot completely through and take measurements after whole soil is soaked and exact amount of water you add in goes out. Than the value is pretty much accurate and match with Bluelab probe. If you measure first few dcl of water it means nothing. But let say you are 6,5 thats great. If the burn is not spreading and plant goes well than you are on a right way. Give her time before next feed. Good luck!

thanks again, highly appreacited!

So do you use AN pH perfect series?
The top yellow leaves look deficient like hell, the bottom is green and with burnt tips.... doohh...

Just a friendly advice, plants dont like these heavy changes in their environment - esp. NUTRITION.

For the future:
In soil - wait with fert feeds until some of the lower leaves turn yellow/deficient, then slowly start with feeds (EC 0.7 or 30% of recommendations) and steadily increase that by the looks of the new growth.

Hope this helps
:peace:

No problem hope it helps... your plants does not look so bad, I have seen much worse and ended up very nice. Sometimes a slight “burn” pushes them further if you do not overdo it. I just want to add for future, at the beggining of every “deficiency” make yourself sure it is not caused by light at first. You can catching a ghost doing even more damage. Good luck!
