JJ love your set up, those girls of yours are looking super fine, and way chunky.

what kind of air system are you using ? stone? curtains? Also whats the out put of your air pump?

Basically a clay/perlite mixture that you run water through.. it's passive hydro. I'm sure there's guides on here.. hold on.

cooling? yes.

I put my 5 gallon bucket inside of a plastic kitty litter box/pan , then add water. Inside of that i have two 2 liter bottles that i alternate from the freezer to the litter box.

pic example



so, once a day sometimes twice, I switch the water bottle for a frozen one.
My temps inside the bucket stay mid 60's, and I live in the desert. This option works well for me and my ONE plant with a 400w HPS and an air conditioner that regulates air 24/7 to about 70 degrees. bought the litter box and the 2 liter drink bottles for a few bucks at the dollar store.

Thanks buddy! I'm using stones from pet shop and a dual outlet air pump. Apparently it does 210 litres an hour... Nothing fancy.

@Dookieslim: Man that is the BEST AND MOST SIMPLE cooling for DWC I have ever seen! I never like the idea of putting the ice bottles straight into the bucket. I am now thinking of going DWC for summer again... btw I'm giving my girls a week left of flushing at the most so harvest pics soon!!!
