Flowering plant Growth?

Hey Guys, i got a quick question...

I plan on modifying a cabinet i have, and I'm modifying it to a 18/6 room. The cabinet is just over 2 feet high.
If i veg all my plants to about 2 feet in height, how much higher will the plant get after i put it in my 12/12 flowering room?
i have a flowering room that is about 4 feet high. (where all my plants are now on 18/6, but im converting it to 12/12 ) Should that system be efficient?

ive had plants that triple in size when flowering....but rule of thumb is atleast double the size.
