Hey all, There is a Burmese Kush about 5-6 weeks into flower that has been turning yellow almost from the start of flowering but it is staying green around the flowers, does'nt look like much trichomes are being produced and has a ..... sweaty almost rotten smell. I was looking forward to this but should i just trash it? Not sure what to do any advice is appreciated. My biggest concern is the sweaty smell from the flowers..?? sorry no pics yet.

with out pics(and bit more info with pics) there is not much i dare say, as it sounds serious and i dont want to give any info that might make the problem worst. but check you're roots for root rot

you didnt give hardly any info but im willing to bet your using soil and 2-4 gallon pot.

and your plant just used up all its nutrients. and started pulling them from the leaves.

your basically almost to flush tho. so no point nuting now.

only one way i know to combat the sweaty-hay-grassy smell-taste. let them get BONE dry after harvest. like 7(popcorns) to 12(tops) days. then jar them up with a couple fresh leaves in there to bring the moisture back. you will notice a huge difference.

Here are sum pics, Thanks guys. Yea , I thought it might be the pot size... would it make sense to transfer to a bigger pot or is it too late? Is it dangerous to keep it in the room? I do have others in there. There is no mold, sweaty smelling flowers tho, some pistils already brown not many and a few brown spots on the yellow leaves. She is only 4 1/2 weeks. Im kinda new at this,

thanks for the help

Looks like a healthy plant to me! What are you worried about. Every strain has a different smell to it. One plant I grew didn't even smell, the other smelled like roses. One smelled like dank. It's all different, I wouldn't trash a plant that nice looking based on "it smells bad"

Looks like she's lacking a bit in nitrogen.

no there is no point transplanting. might cause stress. also youre plants are concentrating on flower production not roots. they will only grow new roots to replace dead/dying roots. ye its nice for them to strecth out. also if it was that/ root bound/ daily watering/feeding with run of and low ec levells and you would be ok. i do agree the yellowing does look like the yellowing shown by plant showing signs of root-bound stress. yes yellowing of leafs in flowering is common but far from that progressively at 4 weeks with a 10 week strain.
could you say how often you water or feed. dry time ec levels. type of nutes ect

Thanks all, room temp @ 80, humidity @ 40. No foliar sprays. Water ph'd every 3-4 days n nutes 3-4 days after every 2 waterings. I have stopped the nutes about 2 weeks ago. Don't do much more than that... Im worried that the stress has already ruined the buds and will end up with bush...? I am still new and about to chop down for my second time. It's a " Bio Warfare " strain you can barely see in the same pics @ 67 days today. :weed:

Thanks all

Pots were too small and you didnt watch the PH of feeds and waterings. Too late for repotting the damage is done and has reduced the final weight.

It looks to me like it's to big for the pot ,:o damn. When I water it is almost bone dry the next day soooo more frequent waterings and light feedings has brought a bit of green back into it and the sweaty sock smell in almost all gone. Still very little trichomes being produced... any ideas? other than that budz look nice @ week 5.
