flowering question

When do I change lightbulbs from Metal Halide to High Pressure Sodium?

- I am currently growing clones that are about 3-4 weeks along

They are currently on 18 on - 6 off under 800 total wattage (2 400 watt bulbs) rectangular closet sized grow space (6 1/2 feet long, 7 1/2 feet high, 2 feet width)

They are currently 6-12 inches tall depending on the plant (we have 12 plants)

Everything is according to specs we are using the best materials we could find....at present time they are very healthy.

Currently growing Master Kush and Bubba Kush

Can I switch over lights now or is it too early? (to 12 on 12 off)

MH is used during Vegging and HPS is used during Flowering.

Since your using clones you could have switched them to 12/12 right off the bat.

if you have 7 and 1/2 feet of height i would go ahead and veg a little longer. maybe 20 inches. with 400 watts you can't go to big unless you either trim the bottom branches or add lower lighting.

yeah they can double or tripple in size during flower.
I think I might would elevate the shorter ones so they catch up and then flower.

Like reefermadness said you could have flowered from start with clones.

The longer you veg though the more bud you will end up with.
