Flowering question

I go by the size of the plant. When they reach a little less than 1/2 the maximum height allowed by my grow space I switch to 12/12. This allows the plant to reach its normal mature growth of 2 to 3 times the height when starting flower without growing into the lights.

Plants stretch after you start the flowering cycle. Some can stretch 4-5x the height they are when you turn to 12/12. Of course, those are the sativa variety. Indicas generally stretch 2x the height. There is no set time for when you start the flowering cycle. The longer you veg, the bigger they will get which will give you more yield in the end. I go with a 30 day veg cycle. That gives the plants time to grow enough to do some training and recover time.

^Same here 30day veg, training and a bit of recovery time.
I normally see pre-flower within that 30days to, so it gives me a chance to sex my plants when using reg seeds.
